🐾 Little Miss Lettie is a 12 week old English Bulldog

🐾 Her ears can hear a treat bag rattle from a mile away.
🐾 Don’t let those puppy dog eyes fool you, her dad says she terrorizes her fur brother at home (and he’s 3x her size)

Found Shepherd mix on SR 56 Dubois Hill ham area. Was hit by car and is injured. Please contacts us with proof of ownership to reclaim 812-482-2124. Is microchiped and tried contacting owner but no responses.

🐾 URGENT FOSTER & ADOPTION PLEA 🐾

At Dogwood Animal Clinic, we work closely with the Dubois County Sheriff's Office to take in stray dogs found throughout the county. By law, we hold these dogs for 5 days to give owners a chance to reclaim them. If they aren't claimed, and they are adoptable, we try to transfer them to the Dubois County Humane Society (DCHS).

However, DCHS is often at full capacity. When there's no room at the shelter, we’re faced with heartbreaking decisions. As a private veterinary clinic, we simply do not have the resources to house unclaimed strays indefinitely.

This is where YOU come in.

👉 If you’ve been thinking about fostering or adopting, now is the time.
👉 If you can't adopt, consider sharing this message or supporting DCHS directly.

Every foster home means one less dog at risk. Every adoption saves a life.

These dogs didn’t ask to be lost, abandoned, or forgotten—but together, we can make sure they aren’t left without options.

STRAY HOLD IS UP. This dog was wearing an invisible fence collar (removed for picture) and was not reclaimed. She can be FOSTERED/ ADOPTED.

Dubois County Humane Society is full and is need of fosters/adopters - not just for this gal - there's tons to choose from!

Fostering is a very rewarding experience and allows the dogs to get used to a normal household routine. Who knows - you might end up foster failing because you found your new best friend 🧡
