This week is Veterinary Receptionist Week! We want to take a moment to recognize these amazing veterinary professionals, the unsung heroes of our very busy hospital! They are the first ones you speak with when you call and the first ones you see when walking into our lobby.

Our client support receptionists do so much more than just answering phone calls and scheduling appointments; they check in appointments, support our clients through both joyous and difficult times, help make sure our clinic and lobby are clean and welcoming, perform administrative tasks, coordinate scheduling with the different consultation services we work with, comfort patients that need a little extra TLC after surgery and so much more!

Please help us celebrate our client support receptionists with a big THANK YOU next time you call or stop in!

Update 4/18: Our phones are back up and running! Thank you for your patience!

Our phones are currently down, we are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible!
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Huxley was looking snazzy in her safety goggles during her laser treatment this morning!

Laser therapy- or PBMT (photobiomudulation)- is a noninvasive, painless, and easily administered treatment option used for a variety of medical conditions in our pets. This laser uses light, absorbed by the chromophores found in the body, to stimulate nonharmful and nonthermal reactions within the cell that result in a beneficial therapeutic outcome.
There are many benefits to laser therapy in our patients, including pain reduction, reduction of inflammation in joints, increase in joint mobility and function, and decreased dosage or frequency of pharmaceuticals used for patients with chronic diseases.
Laser treatments can be an option for treating muscle, joint, tendon or ligament injuries, osteoarthritis, post-operative incisions or traumatic wounds, and nerve damage.
If you think your pet may benefit from this, give us a call! 608-754-1888

🌷Today is officially the first day of spring! 🌷
When deciding on what plants to include in your garden or to bring into your house, consider your pet's access to these plants!

Toxicity from plants and flowers can range from mild illness to death, so it is important to double check what plants are coming into your pet's space!

Below is an amazing resource from the ASPCA that allows you to search specific plants or flower for toxicity in dogs, cats or horses!
