Please join us in congratulating our September Top Dog, Audrey!

Audrey was one of Antonia's VIPs even before she opened the Paw Spa (over 13 years ago)! This sweet and sour girl has spent a lot of time in this building over the years between boarding, daycare, and grooming.
She has always had a LOT to say about everything--from the level of care she's receiving (no matter how much attention she's gotten, it's not nearly enough) to the fact that she really (REALLY) doesn't want to get her nails done.
Back in Audrey's younger years, she was an expert at "Catch-Me-If-You-Can" which is a game that strikes fear into anybody who works with dogs. Nowadays, she would rather sit still and let the breeze do the work of blowing her ears.

Audrey has such a fun personality and we've been so blessed to be a part of her life for so many years. We absolutely adore this little firecracker and we're so excited to honor her this month as Top Dog!

Last week, our guests created some pawprint artwork for their parents and had a little mini photoshoot to show them off.
Some dogs don’t love their paws being touched, so we also do lick paintings! This is where we put the paint and cardstock/canvas in a ziploc bag and have the dogs lick or step on the bag to distribute the paint.
Every month, we have different a different painting activity to provide a bit of enrichment by breaking up the routine of boarding. Depending on dietary restrictions, they get a special treat of peanut butter, greek yogurt, or crumbled up goodies. Sometimes, just a squeaky toy is needed to entice them to dance around to smear the paint. It’s a lot of fun for them and for our staff, and provides essential mental stimulation to help ease anxiety.

Happy Labor Day! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Reminder that the lobby will be CLOSED today. We will return to our normal hours tomorrow.

Our staff is working all day today to ensure our guests have a wonderful vacation! However, they will likely be unable to get to the phones. If you need to reach us, it's best to do so here on Facebook, on Paw Partner, or via email.
We will return any calls/voicemails/texts as soon as possible.

Tomorrow, Monday September 1st, we will be CLOSED for grooming, boarding and daycare in observance of Labor Day.
Our staff will be on site providing our Best In Show care to our guests as always, but the lobby will be CLOSED for drop offs and pick ups.
We will reopen as usual at 7:30AM on Tuesday 9/2. Thank you for trusting us with your fur babies!

Here is our tentative calendar for the month of September.
All of our activities are complimentary for our daycare and boarding guests as a thank you for trusting us with their care. You are welcome to opt your dog out of any activities as you see fit. Just let us know at drop off!

Today, we are thinking of all of those affected by pet loss. Whether they are furry, hairy, feathery, scaly, or otherwise, pets truly become a part of the family. Today is a day to honor their memory and to recall the happy moments you were able to share with your pets who are no longer here.
If you feel inclined to share your Rainbow Bridge pets in the comments, please do so. We'd be honored to share those memories and shoulder some of the pain that comes with the loss of a cherished pet, no matter the species.

Please know that your pet's caregivers and groomers mourn alongside you whenever their time has come to an end. We thank you for sharing them with us, whether it's a one-time meeting or a lifelong friendship. 🌈
