59 small breed puppers from one home were surrendered to JCAS today. We are still vetting everyone and doing health checks, but you can put in an application.

We assisted with removing 61 small dogs from one home yesterday. We brought 59 back to JCAS (and one cat, the coolest on the planet who was confirmed living on the streets, but wanted to come back with us)

We are thankful for the collaboration from organizations across the state that make life saving action possible. We are grateful to have so many amazing animal welfare professionals rowing in the same direction and in AWE of our volunteers gift of time and talents!
Not to mention adopters, supporters, people that share posts to help the animals with special needs or just in need of a home.

Teamwork impacts the lives of all animals in meaningful ways every day. ❣️

Helping animals is never a one person, one organization, one County or one State show. It's lending a hand when you're able and knowing you can reach out for one when you need it. At the end of the day, together we know we did our best to change the life of even one animal because that is our shared goal.

We are responsible for a lot of beating hearts, but working together truly makes the difference for them and seeing so much good come from all the humans mentioned above makes this humble heart so happy. ❤️ TOGETHER, we are making a difference.

With his soft, velvety coat and curious little personality, Puff is as charming as he is unique. He enjoys exploring, nibbling on treats, and watching the world around him. Chinchillas can live long, happy lives with the right care, and Puff is ready to bring joy to a family who's looking for a one-of-a-kind companion.

🤩FEATURED PETS🤩

DOG: Callie is a 2 year old, Labrador Retriever mix that came in as a stray. She is solid black and about 44 lbs. This tail wagger is housetrained and gets along with most other dogs. Callie is happy every day and so excited to take a walk outside. She is not a jumper or barker and knows some basic commands. Her friendly nature and desire to please would make her a great family pet.

CAT: Tulip is a 4 year old Tortie, she is black with orange striping. Tulip came in as a pregnant stray. She had her kittens, they all have been adopted and now she is looking for her forever home. Tulip gets along with all the other cats where she is housed. She is calm and friendly, likes visitors and will come to greet you. Stop by and meet this easy going, pretty green eyed girl today

🐾 We’re Up to Our Ears in Fur…and Laundry! 🧺

Between muddy paws, messy meals, and endless snuggles, our washing machines are working overtime! ❤️

EDIT: WE WANTED TO SHARE TO CLEAR ANY CONFUSION FOR SUNDAY. THE POPULATION OF SMALL DOGS JCAS RECEIVED YESTERDAY ARE NOT GOING TO BE AVAILABLE SUNDAY FOR DEB DAY. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY DISAPPOINTMENT. We are still working through the vetting process and additionally as Deb Day is an outdoor event, this may be overwhelming for the dogs as they are not used to being outside or being in large crowds. We will have plenty of amazing canines AND felines to choose from! See you Sunday!

This Sunday 11am-2pm! Deb Day at JCAS! A special adoption event, all adoptions sponsored 100% with APPROVED application!

Please submit your application early to ensure you can participate and take home your new furry friend this Sunday! 😊
