🤩FEATURED PETS🤩

DOG: Meet Pebbles, she is a 5 year old, grey and white American Staffordshire mix. Pebbles has some cute little spots on her legs that look like a cattle dog. She had lots of puppies and they are adopted, but this lovely girl is looking for her forever home. She is friendly to everyone, not a barker or a jumper. Recently she went on a community event and met lots of new people in a new situation without any problem. She has a tail wag for everyone and pretty soft hazel eyes. Come meet this sweet girl today, She is spayed and ready for adoption 🐶

CAT: Tampico is a one year old, handsome orange tabby that is about 7lbs. When he was photographed, he certainly understood the assignment and struck a pose crossing his front paws. Then he looked at me like, "How is this?" Orange tabbys are know to have lots of personality and he is no exception. Tampico gets along with the other cats where he is housed and is a pretty chill guy. He is neutered and is available today 😻

🐾📚 Learning About Pets at Get REAL 📚🐾

Today, our Pet Therapy Team spent time with students in the Get REAL Summer Program at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, talking about how to stay safe around unfamiliar animals.

We also talked about the importance of microchipping pets, how it helps reunite lost pets with their families, and why regular veterinary care is an important part of responsible pet ownership.

Assisting with today's lesson were Dottie, adoptable dogs Pebbles and her two 9-week-old puppies Rubble and Gravel, along with adoptable kittens Finnegan and Felicity.

The students were AWESOME and did a great job participating !
