This beautiful girl has some fantastic news! Mt Zion Animal Clinic & Boarding is AAHA accredited! Recently, AAHA visited our clinic and did their routine inspection for our continual accreditation!

What does an AAHA accreditation mean? It means your veterinary hospital has met or exceeded hundreds of standards covering all aspects of veterinary medicine INCLUDING: patient care, surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, laboratory, management and so much more! These standards are continually updating and changing to best fit the care for our patients which is why re-evaluations are done routinely. This is strictly voluntary meaning only 15% of the NATION’s hospitals are AAHA accredited. 🤯

Night-Night was not too thrilled with Autumn mentioning her weight last week at her yearly check up 🫢 Side eyes and angry glares were shot at everyone even though she’s doing well on her weight loss! 😂

But, like Night-Night here, we know that a healthy weight is key to a happy, healthy pet! Working on weight loss can be tough, but it is rewarding! (Even when the patient thinks otherwise 🤪)

Keeping an ideal weight on your pet can decrease the risk of many ailments including, but not limited to; arthritis, diabetes, asthma and so much more!

Winston was showing off his cool tricks to the girls this week.

Dr Kidd made sure he was up to date with yearly testing and vaccinations, as well as his monthly preventatives and Winston thanked her by showing off his stunts! Yearly visits are always fun for everyone when new tricks and snack are involved!

Churro says she really enjoyed her new patient visit earlier this week with the Mt Zion Staff! Lots of cuddles and everyone was bragging about how good and beautiful she is 😍 I mean, look at that smile! How can you not fall in love? 🥰

We had some awesome helpers with a litter of Labrador puppies last week! Started vaccines on the puppies and we were trying to guess the weights of them before obtaining it! It was a blast for us and the kiddos! The puppies were wore out by the time we were done!
