The event on Saturday had a great turnout! The weather was perfect, and dogs and their humans enjoyed some yummy treats.

The Meet & Greet sponsored by Mutt Life Rescue seemed to have a good turnout, plus some dogs and owners enjoyed trying out the fun obstacle course, located in the large group classroom.

The biscuit contest was popular having 80 entries. The lucky winner is Nancy K., who guessed the exact number of biscuits that was in the container. Congrats to Nancy!

Please join us for a fun filled day on Saturday, May 30 • 9am - 2 pm. Lots of fun activities: Mutt Life Rescue will be on-site with some dogs for you to meet, and to answer any questions about adopting or fostering a rescue dog. Take a tour of Black Dog Training, or do some shopping around with the various vendors in the parking lot.

Informative Share: Last week I had a scare with my sweet Chester. He had a terrible case of diarrhea for 2.5 days. Every 2 hours - day & night he urgently had to go outside. I noticed some blood in his stool so that made me worry more. I planned to take him in to see the vet.

Meanwhile, I had contacted a quality pet store, named Animal Outfitters in Fond du Lac to determine if there was anything I could give him to settle his stomach. I already give Chester a probiotic daily, which is suggested for older dogs. The pet store recommended this Herbal Digestive Supplement and within 24 hours of taking the supplement, he was all better. Since he recovered, I didn't take him to the vet. I am not sure what caused the issue, but I suspect he ate rabbit poo.
