This beautiful canine is AUTUMN, a 2-year-old Pit mix that was surrendered to the shelter when her owner realized AUTUMN needed a new home that better fit her needs. AUTUMN is a friendly girl who likes her human caretakers. She can be selective on her new dog friends, so proper introductions will be needed. We would recommend that AUTUMN not live with children under the age of 10 as she does get overly excited when she hears and sees young children. Please stop by to meet this sweet girl and see if she might be a good fit for your home.

We have so many amazing adoptable pets right now! Here are some of our available dogs and cats. We are filled to the brim with both dogs and cats and need our community! We’re asking for help in several ways:

💖 Adopt! We need adopters now more than ever! Browse our available animals online at www.hopeanimalshelter.org and stop by to meet them!
🏠 Foster! We are currently specifically in need of a foster for a mama cat and her newborns. If you’re able to help please fill out a foster application online and come chat with us!
🗣️ Spread the word! The more you share our animals the better their chances of adoption! Community goes a long way in helping our animals get attention.
💰 Donate! We gladly take financial donations to help cover vet costs as well as gently used pet items, food and treats. See our website for a full list of physical donation needs.

Other ways to help:
❤️‍🩹 Spay and neuter your pets! The pet overpopulation crisis is very real and very serious. Keep accidental litters from happening! Call us and ask about our spay and neuter program.
📍 Keep track of your pets! Keep them supervised, leashed, tied up, check your fences, etc. Make sure your pets are microchipped and the information on it is up to date. That way if they do sneak away from you we can easily find your information and call you.

UPDATE: ADOPTED!!!

Are you ready to add a puppy to your home?? If so, please check out Deuce, a 12 week old male Pit mix that was surrendered to the shelter after his owners living situation changed.
Deuce is a typical puppy who loves to play with other dogs and is friendly with humans. He seems to be well socialized other than needing some work walking on leash and learning that a crate is a good, safe place. He is very good about his house breaking skills, but is still a young puppy so needs a lot of trips outside and praise for going outside.
Please let us know if you are interested in meeting Deuce as he’s in a foster home, continuing his important socialization. His adoption fee is $175 plus a refundable deposit for his neuter, which is paid for by HOPE.
The Husky is not available for adoption yet, but hopefully he will be cleared medically very soon.

URGENT: We are beyond capacity with dogs and nearly full for cats!!! If you have ever considered adopting a dog or cat, please stop by and see who might be a good fit.
In the past three days, we have received 5 stray dogs (none of which have been reclaimed) and 3 dogs that were abandoned by their owners. We also have multiple people looking to surrender their dogs and we have no space to take them in or any way to help these owners.
How can you help??? Please reclaim your dogs!!! Please keep track of your dogs and keep them home. Please spay and neuter your animals . HOPE has low cost vouchers to help with spaying and neutering.
Please consider adopting!!!
We are working on a plan to add additional space for dogs but that will take several months, more details later but right now, we need you!!!
