Did you know that Stoffels Country Store will let you donate to pay down HOPE's account at their store? Cash or credit card. We spend quite a lot on food for the animals in our care, even with the huge discount that Stoffels gives us (sometimes below their own costs). Feel free to add a little $$ to our account while shopping for your own pets' needs.

A big thank you for those that attended our public meeting last night! We heard many great ideas and input. Now we're working on consolidating the information to present it to the HOPE board.

Please check back for the next meeting in early December. Thanks again.

✨️ MEET NOVA ✨️

This little sweetheart is a 1-2 year old mixed breed that came to the shelter with her four puppies, who one by one have found their forever homes and now it's her turn!

About Nova - She's a petite gal, only weighing about 32 pounds. She is very shy and timid with new people but it only takes her a few days with someone until her goofy,  silly personality starts to come out.
She's learning all about how to just be a dog and experiencing things she's probably never experienced before, like walks, toys, regular outside potty breaks, real human affection... with that being said, Nova needs a home where she can come around at her own pace with someone who has patience and the dedication to show her that the world isn't so scary and that she is safe. She needs LOVE. ❤️

Since other dogs are still pretty scary to her, too, confident, calmer dogs would probably be best for her in a home. She walks past the cats without really any interest, though, so she'd probably be just fine living with them!

We would love to see Nova find her way into a home so she can really open up and feel more comfortable!
If you feel like your home would be the right fit, please apply and stop in to meet her!
*A FOSTER HOME WOULD ALSO BE WONDERFUL IF YOU'RE NOT ABLE TO ADOPT* ❤️❤️❤️

VOLUNTEERS - Thank you for applying.

We are in the process of restaffing. Well trained staff caring for the animals is our top priority right now. We've received a number of Volunteer Applications and are NOT ignoring them. Volunteers require training also and we need our employees to be comfortable in their own positions to be able to provide guidance to new volunteers. Please be patient; we'll probably move slowly and carefully for a little while longer.
