Great news for everyone and especially if you’re staying at our place… block and a half off of trail 2 - and it’s official for ORV use!!!

Last week, we received some long awaited news! Finally trail 2 from Wakefield to Ironwood has now been approved for ORV use! Meaning we can put funding into the trail through DNR grants! Much needed improvements! Everyone involved worked so hard to make this happen! And to think it was all volunteered time!! We have a good group of volunteers who go above and beyond and it’s all for you, the riders!!

We hope to see you at the ribbon cutting next Friday, August 8th!

There is so much to love about the 15ish mile stretch they call Black River Scenic Byway. It has multiple waterfalls and ends in a beautiful encounter with the majestic Lake Superior at Black River Harbor.

Did someone say, snowmobiles, water and racing!???!! Say whhaatt!!! Wakefield will be the place to be this coming weekend!!

This is a spectacular event that is put on by the City of Wakefield and Wakefield’s WE CARE organization. 🙌🏼

We are so excited to help out for this event!! With that in mind, we are on the lookout for some volunteers to help man the grounds during this event! Please reach out to us if you wanting to help out! We can give you more details!
