Ipswich Humane Group / Animal Shelter 501(c)(3) non-profit. Open to the public on Sundays from 2-4 pm at 17 Fowlers Lane, Ipswich, MA. MDAR License #0237.

Through volunteer manpower and donations, we create a safe, pleasant environment for cats and dogs that come to the Ipswich Animal Shelter. Our weekly Open Houses held on Sundays from 2-4 pm at 17 Fowlers Lane are a great way to meet our adoptable pets!

🩵Hank the hunk arrived to the shelter today (photo on left not good due to his wiggle body lol)

Sadly his Mom passed suddenly and the extended family could not keep him. He was SO loved and so they found us and we could not resist making sure he finds another loving home!

He will be going to a foster home tomorrow and we are grateful! We felt he deserved a home atmosphere after what he has gone through.

We are accepting applications immediately on him.

What we know so far:

🌲He is around 6 years old
🌲He has skin allergies from when he was adopted 3 yrs ago. On meds and his skin and coat look good now!
🌲Super friendly and sweet sweet sweet
🌲Loves belly rubs
🌲Loves beaches
🌲Loves toys
🌲Neutered and UTD on shots
🌲Walks nice on leash

Why do we do the Tree Jubilee every year?

The Tree Jubilee is our biggest fundraiser, helping provide a lot of the funds needed annually to care for the many cats and dogs that come to the Ipswich Animal Shelter, which is 100% unpaid volunteer run. All the funds go to the animals for their medical care, food, litter, etc. We are very grateful for the outpouring of support for this event from Marini Farm and our local community every year. It is a lot of fun for volunteers to help run the Tree Jubilee and get the opportunity to interact with the hundreds of visitors who visit each year.

Come by the Ipswich Animal Shelter at 17 Fowlers Lane to chat with volunteers and visit the cats 🐱who are currently at the shelter today during our Weekly Sunday Open House from 2pm-4pm!

Just before Thanksgiving last year Miss Stella went to foster after 4 months with us at shelter.

Happy anniversary Stella aka Stelly! You were a favorite and we are so happy to have your mom as a volunteer on our dog team now! You are where you were meant to be❤️

Tree Jubilee Tip: Did you know that you can use the raffle tickets you purchase at the Tree Jubilee to try and win the amazing Ursula tree featured in the Marini Farm Store???
There is a ticket tube next to the display in the farm store AND a tube for the display in the greenhouse (look for the tube next to a photo of Ursula at the front of table 1). You could be the lucky winner to bring Ursula home!
