Byrd's Birds Urban farm in Indianapolis specializing in Black Copper Marans, Olive Eggers, Chocolate Orpington, Furness Orpington, and BBR Ohiki.

We are also working on White Marans, unavailable at this time. Our birds are raised underfoot and well socialized. Current Members of APA, ABA, Marans Club USA, Marans Chicken Club USA, and American Ohiki Association. Breeding towards the SOP and betterment of our birds.

2025 has been a bit of a doozy. Unfortunately we have lost several birds to predators this year and only have a few olive egger males available at this time.
Luckily, we have managed the coops to eliminate the predator problem so far. As many of you know, it can be very challenging when a mink or ferret has found your flock to deter them. We do still have our Black Copper Marans flock and hope to separate out our Bantam and Large fowl lines this coming spring. Our olive egger project is minimal currently and may fall to the wayside as we make room for alternative adventures in poultry keeping.

All others will be $5.00 each

*Fun sized BCM are a current project of mine working towards a bantam size BCM while maintaining that beautiful egg color we all love.
