I can't believe in a couple of weeks I have been here in Indianapolis for 2 years! With new followers I thought I would give you all a look into my previous career as a zookeeper!! What the perfect day for one of my favorite animals!!

Today is World Giraffe day, it falls on the longest day of the year!! I had the pleasure of working with giraffes for 8 years at my first zoo job in Texas. While I was there I had the best experience of welcoming a baby giraffe, sending and receiving giraffe and training the giraffe to voluntarily participate in their yearly vaccinations!
