It's always important to be checking in on your pets as the heat continues to stick around 😎 Check out some early signs of overheating to keep an eye out for this summer:

🥵 Intense Panting -- rapid, heavy, or laboured breathing
💦 Thick Drool -- saliva becomes sticky, thick or frothy
🔴 Red Gums -- also could see pale/grayish membranes or a flushed tongue
🥱 Behavior Changes -- uncharacteristic confusion, restlessness or continuously seeking shade or puddles

⌛ Be sure to limit times outside as temperatures increase and avoid the hottest parts of the day for any extended time outside! And remember, if the pavement is too hot for your hands, it's DEFINITELY too hot for our pups! ✋🌡️
