Hey there neighbors, Rory here! After so many stories I've told of her, I figured it was time to finally share. My Moms recently stopped by the shop to take a peek and catch up. Giving her the tour has to be the highlight since our inception. I mean, Song is a Korean immigrant who lived the American Dream and had successful restaurant in Carmel for 17 years. I must admit, it was pretty cool going to get 'free' sushi in high school ... and I use free loosely, as I'd get a tongue lashing and then have to work the weekend. Jokes on her! I was always going to have to work the weekend, so hah! My mother is always the model of work ethic due to her roots, so she made sure that us brothers would continue that tradition. I constantly think about how my mom kept moving forward, especially on the days she didn't and use that as my motivation to make this shop the most welcoming around. Life is never easy, but thank you for never giving up on me. I love you Moms!

Thank YOU neighbors! In just a few months, you Garfield Barkers have found and followed to watch all your pooches enjoy their time in the most chill vibes shop around! We're so proud of the work that we put in and so happy that we get to share it in the community that we not only love, but live in. Without y'all and the paws, we would be nothing! The Fur Foundry will continue to keep our door open for y'all and the standards high. Our mission is to continue hand tailoring the grooms for the best possible experience for our quadrupedal friends! Love sharing our stories of our family and love hearing yours. We cannot wait to listen to more and to make some memories in the process. Here at The Fur Foundry, we LOVE when we take our work home with us... I mean, it's only a 3 minute drive home 😆. A quick end of last week recap as we enter this week, good neighbors! Banjo got a nice fade and a party up top! The only problem he had while visiting was which bed to rest on. Also, a pair of timers to the shop and the process in general... this tasty duo of Churro and Reese had a fun time with resident MaoMao and came out looking crisp. Hard to say which was better, their cuts or how well behaved they were for everything! Sweet Laverne (sans Shirley) got a quick tune up and met a new friend at the shop in Maddie! They just relaxed and enjoyed the view. Roux came in for a quick pit stop with a face touch up and nail care! Annie's first time was a howling good time as we took care of that stank and cleaned up her nails! Macaroni was just going to walk in for some nails, but we finished with the whole shebang. What a super chill dude! Lily got comfortable with the new shop while her dad got to hang out and do some work with our WiFi! She did so great that her brother is going to come in for a visit tomorrow! Brody and Rudy (say Brudy and they'll both come running) stopped in for deep deep deshed treatments and they were aces, very proud of these goofballs. Kona and Daisy had their treatments while mom visited Big Lug Filling Station Kitchen & Taproom! So convenient! Our friend Cami came to get thinned out of that summer coat, while our neighbors Toast, Volt and brother Dallas returned for their usuals! Phoenix adds to the list of newpuppers and made herself quite at home as she got lined up and was fantastic for it! We had a great day today and everyday as we're always excited to share with y'all Garfield Barkers!

Hey neighbors! This week has been FUN! It maybe our busiest week with new guests from all over, but it's been so great getting to know all the new people and pooches. Ozzy and Charlie came in for their first visit and they got to let their hair down and have some fun! Well, maybe Ozzy did with his new pal Ruby. She got to show Oz how to perform in front of the big windows, meanwhile Charlie snuggled up on the bed with her new barber. Ollie, well Ollie was just glad to be there. He was such a sweet boy, he too just wanted to snuggle and get to know everyone. Can't blame him when he was taking in the 90s vibe that TFF has. Speaking of 90s, THE DUDE came in to get his haircut ... and we made sure that none of his hair got on the rug. Then there's Barry, he's been known to romp around in new settings... good thing he's been here before and was happy to be back! Buxton snuck his way back to the shop and he had his best day because Petey heard that Bux is all healthy from his big surgery and they were READY! WWE has nothing on these fellas! Wild man Oreo came back for a touch and he was much excite to be back. Princess needed to get in ASAP because she has an event this weekend and she MUST upstage her very own sister. As her barber, she's going to upstage EVERYONE! Mackey had a slumber party over at the barber's house, so he had his own customized visit. And our dear friend Winston leaves looking smoking hot because daaaaaaang his fade looks super crisp. That's it for now Garfeld Barkers because this team is COOKED! We'll see y'all this weekend!

Hey hey heeeeeey! It's Monday, neighbors, so let's do a recap of our finish of last week! Buddy, a friend of Ms. Millie Purl, stopped in after hearing about all the hubbub about TFF and did not leave disappointed. He asked for a nice fade, while accenting his nice legs - we understood the assignment. Then after that, we had the Blonde Crew over. LoLo started the day off, hanging out with the pond boy Danny and getting a LoLo haircut to keep her fast and aerodynamic. Very sporty indeed. Next, Honey came in to share some plays and love. Her coat was just like her demeanor, soft and full (of love). Our dear friend that just keeps growing, Rocky the Cement Layer visited his bff MaoMao to get some play time and scrub a dub dub. He graduated from nail clipping to nail filing, CONGRATS BUDDY! And our long time friend, Bentley, made the excursion down from Hamilton County to hang with his favorite barber of all time. He had his best visit to date, he said it was due to the ambience and great big windows. Alphonse and Winston were back again and a week earlier than planned, but we had no problems accommodating such well behaved big boys. They were able to romp around and enjoy the show that Harlot Apothecary and Super Real Much put on! The boys really wanted to support all the local artists that came out, but they forgot that dog kisses isn't a form of currency. Last, but certainly not least - Quesadilla! She isn't just new to us, but new to the neighborhood! Freshly adopted, Quesadilla is learning the ropes just like her dad is learning the neighborhood... we had to help out our paramedic friend out and give her a good scrub down and some nail care. She was an absolute sweetheart and did extremely well on her visit! With that being said our dear Garfield Barkers, we hope y'all have a great week!

Hey there neighbors! We started the week off right with our old pal Fizty and his new brother, Bing! These boys trekked the construction to visit their old barber and loved the view from their bags. Another set of pocket sized brothers, Levi and Milo, had their first visit to the shop and got some nice crispy fades. They were were wonderful gentlemen during their visit! Our cutie patootie neighbor, Millie Purl, let her hair down and let loose and couldn't decide which toy to play with ... so she decided to relax in Your Grandfather's Chair. Another traveler, Odie, met up with his favorite barber and had the best appointment yet with his nails. Usually a chore for him, he let his guard down and even dapped the barber up after! We think it was due to the contractually obligated string cheese bite. Our dear friends Sissy and Mo finally got to visit the shop after hearing so much from their human sister (who we thank so much for helping with the shop, thanks Kathy!). They came out looking sharp for the autumn season! Mr. Ginger had a tight coat, so we decided to drop it like the leaves on the trees. Once we got through a few things, Ginger opened up and relaxed! He also even got to flirt a bit with Miss MaoMao... last but not least, the most wonderful neighbor came over again and had to love in her current crush... Danny the Pond Boy. Pen and Pink Vintage watched his progression at learning how to be a real dog. She's always given him pets in passing, but now she frequents her new Beau and just loves where he is now. Thank you so much Laura for just being you, you make us feel so welcome! That's a wrap for now, but keep your eyes peeled for the weekend post it's going to be a fun one!

Hey there, neighbors... as the song goes, I did in fact, do it again. So many apologies! So let's roll out the red carpet for some of our pooches from midweek to past Friday (Saturday+Today featured tomorrow!). Our model citizen neighbor, Toast, came in to get a nice scrub down and to take care of his nails so he can give better high fives! Can't be angry with that! Harley Hoosier is the grand son of our volunteer neighbor across the street and came in to get a nice last summer cut as we move on to fall. He was a quite the delight, just like Coach Cignetti! BlueBear* graced us with his presence as his mother dropped him off to get looking like a stud so he can strut his stuff into autumn 🍂! My dear, dear friend Kingston and his wonderful mother also stopped in so the boy could get a clean fade that was as awesome as his personality - they may not be in the community, but definitely a distant neighbor! Hellooooooo Daphne! Her mum dropped her off to get a complete makeover and we gladly obliged. Her new haircut makes my MR2 headlights pop up all the way from my garage because WOW what a transfurmation! Another Garfield Barker, Cocoa Bean, came in to get a nice new 'do going on for her spooky szn 👻, she was wonderful - trying to show up her husky sibling up! Summer and Obi are now shop regulars, as they've both been in here multiple times to get their ears lowered. Absolutely a blast got the both of them as they got to romp around with resident MaoMao. Newcomer, Ritchie, maybe shy, but he was an absolute delight. Even during the haircut, all he wanted to do was just hug it out with those big doe eyes of his. Welcome to the pack, Ritchie! Lee Lee was looking like she licked a light socket, so we came to the rescue! We have her the best trim as she is now more aerodynamic so she can quickly slide up to her dad for snuggles. Last but not last, DVM Grandma stopped by to drop off her grand pupson to get an introductory shop day in for some experience that'll go a long way on his resume. NED! That's right, Ned. He had a blast making new friends, being bold and tearing up some toys with MaoMao - couldn't have done any better! More posts we promise, or we'll be... toxic!

Hey hey, neighbors! The weekend is upon us, so time to let loose and share some of our neighbors' visits! Miller and Mohr not only enjoyed being on security detail, but finally getting rid of some layers to lighten up in this record setting heat in September. Snowball, now a seasoned veteran at TFF, came back to show off his figure for his age bracket. Bricks is a first timer in every facet here at the shop, and we were here to save him from the thick humidity! His face came out clean and did extremely well for a first time haircut 💇‍♂️! This little cutie patootie Pomeranian came in as a walk up trim up while dad was getting his ears lowered across the street at the human barbershop! Mr. Clyde thoroughly enjoyed his time with all the other pooches, while getting lined and blended up. Naila's mother is a student here locally and really needed to get her pup in and we arose to the occasion. Now, Naila can see that the future is bright with her mom's education path! Louie came in yet again because he needed to get dolled up to introduce his human sibling and to also have some softer nails! Our neighbor, Monty, came in after a much needed updo... and he sure does look handsome afterwards! He was able to hang out with the north side of the park friends in MaoMao, Pizza and River! Our dear friend Sansa came in early for a nice scrub down and blowout. We touched up those paws and off they went to get a few more hours of rest! And Ori (Oreo) hit reset on his new coat and got a refresher and felt so good running around with his new pals! Absolutely a blast having everyday feeling like this, thank you again Garfield Barkers!
