🐾✨Happy Veterinary Assistant Week to these amazing people who keep Incline Veterinary Hospital running! ✨🐾

This week we are celebrating Brooklyn, Fabiana, Emmalee & Gigy for all of their hard work and dedication they show to our clients and patients.

🐾Brooklyn & Emmalee are currently enrolled in Veterinary Technician school. We are so proud of them and excited to watch them grow.

🐾Fabiana, our Licensed Technician, is incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to help teach and show others. We are so thankful to have her on our team.

🐾Gigy may be our CSR, but she is always ready to jump in and help whenever needed. We appreciate her so much.

We are so lucky to have such hardworking, compassionate, and supportive team. Thank you all for all you do everyday! 💙

⚠️⚠️MUSHROOM TOXICITY ALERT️⚠️⚠️
We have recently seen multiple cases involving toxic mushrooms in the Tahoe area, which include these Panther Cap mushrooms. These are extremely dangerous to pets if ingested.

Symptoms may appear within as little as 2 hours and include:
-Weakness
-Tremors
-Seizures
-Disorientation or coma-like state

If you suspect your pet has eaten any mushrooms, see veterinary care immediately! Even if they seem normal after ingestion, early treatment can make a huge difference.

Keep a close eye on pets while they are outdoors, especially in the parks, trails, and any damp wood or grassy areas where the mushrooms grow. 🍄
