U-Pick Now Open Mondays and Fridays
Hey everyone! I can't believe opening day is almost here!
We are a bit behind schedule—Landon has been busy helping with the Farmers Market, and I’ve been feeling under the weather this week. But we love supporting the market and want to see it succeed, so sometimes you have to make sacrifices!
Regardless, we are moving forward with our opening day this Monday, June 15th! We ask for a little bit of grace as we finish getting everything together.
I checked the strawberry field today (or the "strawberry jungle," as I’m calling it right now due to the weeds!). While an early variety produced some berries last week, the bulk of our plants aren't fruiting heavily yet. I hate to underdeliver since I promised a mid-June harvest, but nature has its own timeline!
Here is what we will have ready for you this week

U-Pick Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is there an entrance fee?
A: No! We are a small, homestead-style farm and do not charge a fee to enter the property.
Q: What items are available for U-Pick?
A: Anything that is ripe and doesn’t require a blade to harvest is fair game! Availability will change as the season progresses, but if it's ready, you can pick it.
Q: Can we bring kids to the farm?
A: Absolutely—we encourage it! Our kids will be around and love having new friends to play with.
Q: What are your hours?
A: We are currently open Mondays and Fridays from 9:00 AM until one hour before sunset.
Q: Are there activities or attractions on the farm?
A: We focus on the actual farming experience rather than big commercial attractions, but we have plenty of fun spots for kids! Visitors can enjoy our swing set, playhouse, volleyball net, small putting green, and open space to run around. Plus, you can visit our baby rabbits and ducks! It’s a great place for kids to explore nature and get their hands dirty.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Cash, Venmo, cards, or checks are all accepted
Q: Do we need to bring our own containers?
A: You are welcome to bring your own containers or packages although we will have options available for everyone to use as well.
Q: Is there a restroom on-site?
A: Yes, there is a porta-potty available on site for visitors to use.
If you think of any other questions for me, please feel free to shoot me a text or call at 208-716-9145. We are really excited to see everyone out here on the farm.
