Lamoille Valley Veterinary Services is an AAHA-certified, independently owned hospital offering wellness care, general surgery, dentistry, ultrasound, radiographs, breeding consultation, and emergency and critical care services. We provide wellness care, general surgery, dentistry, ultrasound, radiographs, breeding consultations, house calls and limited emergency and critical care services. Emerge

ncy services are available daily between 8am and 8pm, and referred to a 24/7 emergency practice overnight. Please be aware that we also refer emergencies during the day if we have hit capacity. We also provide grooming, cat boarding, and recommendations for pet food and supplies. For care when your pet needs it, we hope you’ll think of us as your primary point of contact. We believe in low-stress handling of patients; many of our staff members are Fear Free Certified and recently, we achieved Cat Friendly Practice status through the American Association of Feline Practitioners. We have also opened a cat clinic affectionally referred to as "The Cat Side" located where the pet store used to be. Our listed hours are our administrative hours, but we accept phone calls around the clock.

🚨☘️ WANTED: CORNBEEF ☘️🚨

Charges include:
• Stealing hearts
• Loitering in cozy beds
• Demanding pets from innocent civilians
• Grand larceny of St. Patrick’s Day corned beef

Cornbeef is a senior gentleman with no teef and absolutely no regrets. After having a full mouth extraction, he now spends his days perfecting the art of naps, gentle head boops, and waddling around like he owns the place.

He’s incredibly sweet, loves attention, and would thrive in a calm, peaceful home where he can retire from his life of crime. Other cats? He could take ‘em or leave ‘em. 🧡

If apprehended, please sentence him to a lifetime of soft blankets and forehead kisses.

Providing the best care for your pets means never stopping our own education.

🎉Brag Alert: This week, we are incredibly proud to announce that 11 of our team members—including 3 of our doctors—are now officially RECOVER Rescuer Certified! Our team has been working hard, mastering the latest life-saving techniques in both Basic and Advanced Life Support.

🎉 Double Brag Alert: We also want to give a massive round of applause to Morgan (one of our fantastic TAs)! Morgan scrubbed into surgery for the first time this week and was a total natural. Watching our team grow and take on new challenges is the best part of what we do.

Meet "Corn Beef". He is a rags to riches story. He was found by a good Samaritan 1 month ago. He was emaciated, cold, dirty and had severe stomatitis (inflammation of the mouth). He started with us at 4.7lb and he is now up to 7lb. Thanks to VETEGA and the Mona Pants Foundation, we were able to do full bloodwork and dental treatment which required numerous extractions. He is healing well. He still has a ways to go but he is ready to go to a forever home. He is very calm and just wants to be loved. Stop by LVVS to meet him and/or spread the word to any potential adopters. Neutered male and assumed to be a senior cat but can't really tell. We have microchipped him and he's gotten his first vaccines. He will need a booster ~5/6.

$10 per ticket - Enter to win a Dog DNA test by Royal Canin.

Do you want to know what breed your dog is?
Do you want to know if he/she is predisposed to any health concerns?

A ROYAL CANIN® Genetic Health Analysis™ will:
Determine the breeds that make up your dog, comparing your dog’s DNA to the unique genetic signatures of more than 365 dog breeds with your dog’s breed mix reported down to 1%.
Help create a proactive plan for your dog’s health care with more than 265 health conditions including MDR1 for drug sensitivity, as well as, over 50 trait variants, some of which may have health consequences.
Predict your dog’s likely adult weight and size, providing a benchmark you can use to ensure your dog stays at a healthy weight and develop a tailored nutritional plan with your veterinarian.
The science is complex, but the process is simple
Your veterinarian collects a small, painless DNA cheek swab sample. Your veterinarian activates the kit online and mails the sample to the lab. The sample arrives at our lab, where it is processed and analyzed.
After 3-4 weeks, a report is sent to your veterinarian and to you. Meet with your veterinarian to discuss the breed ancestry, how it may impact training and behaviors, and decide together on a health and nutrition plan for your dog.
