🐾 Huxley Needs a New Home 🐾
Meet Huxley! He’s a sweet, gentle boy looking for a patient, loving family who will understand just how special he is.
A little about his journey: When Huxley first came to us for training, he was so scared he wouldn’t come out of a closet. With time, patience, and a lot of love, he has completely blossomed. Today he goes outside to play, enjoys walks, gets excited to see the people he loves, and has even learned to hang out off leash with his owner. He has truly learned to enjoy life, and we’re so proud of him.
His personality: Huxley is a sensitive, timid guy who needs someone who will let him warm up at his own pace. Don’t expect him to run up to you on day one. But once he trusts you? He’s an absolute cuddle bug and one of the sweetest dogs you’ll meet. He is NOT a guard dog. If a stranger comes in, he’s much more likely to hide than protect the house! 😄
What to expect: Moving to a new home is a big change for a sensitive dog, so Huxley may take a few steps back at first. His new family will need to take things slow and let him settle in, while still gently encouraging him to keep growing and building confidence. He’s come so far, and with the right people he’ll keep going!
What Huxley needs:
🏡 A home where someone is around most of the time
🌳 A fenced-in yard
🍽️ A careful diet. He has a sensitive stomach, so no table scraps, and you’ll need to keep an eye on what he picks up in the yard
🚶 Light daily exercise: a walk or two a day, or some playtime in the yard. Nothing excessive
A big bonus: Huxley comes with lifetime access to training with us, including unlimited one-on-one lessons and lifetime access to our group classes. His new family won’t be doing this alone. We’ll be right there to support you both every step of the way!
Huxley has his quirks, and that’s part of what makes him unique. The right person will see what a wonderful companion he is.
