Family dog training often falls on the parents.

But what about the kids? They often are eager to help but might not have the skills yet.

What if there were a class that helped establish fundamentals for the junior handler and supported the training you are trying to reinforce at home? A class that starts from the ground up with leash handling, body language, bite prevention, and confidence building in 4 concise lessons.

I am a mom of 2 kiddos and passionate about juvenile handlers. We are now offering classes that bring practical hands on knowledge at a child appropriate level.

She is as darling as she looks.

Twice the puppy shenanigans in the house and twice the dopamine with all their goofiness. It is always exciting to see just how much these puppies can learn.

Some gave all. All gave some.The ultimate sacrifice was given by so many. May we never take it for granted.

The weather for our region has been uncharacteristically cool. And now things are rapidly warming up to typical temperatures.

Be mindful of your dogs (and yourself) as you acclimate to summer weather. Mornings and evenings will be most hospitable for exposure. For working dogs, be intentional about steadily increasing time in the heat. And learn what symptoms of heat distress look like and how to effectively treat it!

Prevention and preparation are far easier than recovery from heat injuries.
