Our team also stresses the advantages and importance of performing spays and neuters. We try to maintain a calm and friendly environment for both the animals and their owners, making sure everyone has an excellent experience.

Every year a team of our doctors and technicians, alongside of a wonderful group of ladies from SNIP (Spay and Neuter Impact Project) volunteer their time to put on a 3-day spay and neuter clinic on the Pine Ridge Reservation. This clinic is free o all the Pine Ridge residents for the surgical procedures performed and the vaccines, heartworm and tick prevention provided for each animal. Over the last few months our team has been raising money to help fund this trip to provide this service. We have received such a generous outpouring of support for this event! From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank each and every person who helped make this possible. This includes our wonderful employees baking all the goodies for our bake sale, our wonderful clients for purchasing those amazing goodies, and the abundance of food donations, collars, leashes and all the extra supplies that have come to help make this possible.

Our team at CVVH, along with SNIP and all the Pine Ridge residents appreciate this more than you know. We truly love our community and the amazing things we cal all accomplish together.

Happy Memorial Day! Today we would like to thank all the men, women and canines for their bravery and service. Just a reminder, we will be CLOSED today, Monday May 25, but will resume normal business hours (8am- 6pm) on Tuesday May 26. We would like to remind everyone that we will be CLOSED Monday May 25, 2026 in honor of Memorial Day. We will reopen and resume normal business hours (8am -6pm) Tuesday May 26, 2026. We will be open today (5/21) and Friday (5/22) from 8am -6pm and Saturday (5/23) from 8am -12pm for appointments, medication and food refills. If you are in need of emergency services please contact the Animal Emergency and Referral Center of Minnesota, the Veterinary Emergency Group or Allied Emergency Veterinary Services. Tis the season for Gnats! Gnat bites cause a red ring to appear on pets that can grow to the size of a nickel. They are most noticeable in areas that contain very little or thin hair such as the abdomen or groin areas. Gnat bites can range from bright red to a lighter pink, which causes a target to appear as they fade. These bites do not bother your pets, but it is best to keep them out of the grass upon noticing them until they are gone.

Today is the last full day for our bake sale. All proceeds will go towards our annual spay and neuter clinic at the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. This is CASH or VENMO ONLY! We have a lot of great options to choose from at the clinic. Anything remaining after hours Friday, will be kept and sold in clinic Saturday.

A team of our staff members be doing our annual trip to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota for a 3-day spay/neuter clinic in early June.

As a fundraiser, we will be holding a bake sale, May 11th-15th, to help collect donations to fund the supplies needed to make this clinic possible. Each day we will be bringing in new baked goods for your selection!! We will be keeping this CASH ONLY!! Come ready to leave with some goodies and help out a good cause!
With your help we will be able to serve the pets in need within the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. We appreciate all of your support!
