Calliope got a roommate today! Tay had been laying against the fence talking to her so we decided to let him move in and teach her how to be a pig. Check the comments! He definitely showed her how to eat the carrots lol

I didn't realize how big the new house was until I saw it next our previous houses. Lots and lots of piggy space now. We were hoping to move Calliope to her new area today but mother nature had other plans and started pouring on us so hopefully tomorrow she will move into her new home and have more space to walk back and forth.

Slowly but surely it's getting there. This is the new big house for the piggies so Calliope can move and into the big building in the back of the property and have lots and lots of space. She's probably going to hate it because we're going to try and get her to walk back and forth but it'll be a great exercise area.

So close, yet so far! She was heading for her pool so we got the phones out and she noticed us and started grumbling and walked away after taking a drink. I did catch a little bit of how she's thinning out and starting to get back leg muscles though so that was exciting! Calliope you're doing good girl!

This Calliope update doesn't have a picture. For a very good reason: She is being a sneak. We can tell by the dirt she has been in her new pool. My husband saw her in it twice now, but couldn't get the camera up in time. I put her food bowl next to the pool and she acted like it was going to be the death of her to walk that far but we know she's doing it to get in the pool. She's just being very sneaky sneaky about it. Picture coming as soon as we can catch her actually in her pool

Calliope's New pool is here! And of course it arrived on a day we're having massive lightning storms so she is tucked into her straw and refusing to come out. She stood up to eat her banana (meloxicam bribery) and a head of lettuce and we let little Graham in while we did the pool so she could get used to having pigs around. She actually grumbled a lot less than I expected. Now we need a sunny day so she can enjoy the pool she has.
