Congratulations to the Class of 2026! 🎓

It has been such a wonderful semester working with my Career Preparedness students. Together, we've accomplished so much! Our mint garden has grown into an amazing collection of different mint varieties that the pigs have been enjoying, the piggies have been getting their education while being read to, and we have tackled countless cleanup projects to help keep the rescue looking its best.

More importantly, we've shared a lot of laughs, learned new skills, solved problems together, and made a real difference for the animals in our care. Watching these students grow in confidence, responsibility, and compassion has been one of the highlights of my year.

I am going to miss seeing everyone and having all that teenage energy around the rescue each week. Now I'll be counting down the days until the start of the 2026-2027 school year—and trying to figure out where I'm going to find enough energy to replace an entire group of hardworking teenagers this summer!

Congratulations, graduates! We are so proud of you and can't wait to see all the amazing things you'll do next. ❤️🐷🎓

Short Stack is my precious darling, my sweetest little baby, and obviously the most perfect piggy to ever exist 💕🐷✨ Every little snoot boop, every tiny attitude, every dramatic moment just makes me love him even more. Yesterday evening Jethro had priorities… and apparently dinner was not one of them 👑🐷😂

While the rest of the piggies rushed off to eat like it was the greatest event of the day, little Jethro made sure he got his very important moment first: becoming King of the Mud Hole. 🥹🤎

He stomped, splashed, wiggled, and proudly claimed his muddy throne while everyone else was busy with dinner bowls. And when Mom sprayed him with the hose, somehow it made the whole experience even better. 🚿🐷 Mud flew everywhere while Jethro soaked up every second of his royal spa treatment… all while making sure to completely ignore Mom talking to him the entire time. 😂👑

Because to Jethro, being special is way more important than hurrying to eat. He knows Mama and Daddy will make sure his meal is waiting when His Royal Mudness is finally ready.

🐷💸 It’s $5 Friday and this week we have TWO very important items we are trying to raise money for to help keep everyone healthy, happy, and healing! Together these two items will cost us $110.09, so every single donation truly helps. 💸🐷

First up is Chlorhexidine ointment — our absolute miracle worker around here! From little piggy scrapes and irritated skin to cuts, bumps, and even the occasional human injury from mini pig “love taps,” this stuff is always being used. 🩹💕 If you know, you KNOW.

The second need is injectable ivermectin so we can keep all of the piggies up to date on their preventive care and make sure everyone stays protected and healthy. With so many rescue pigs depending on us, these routine care items add up fast but are so important. 🐽💉

✨ May the 4th Be With You ✨

Today is officially May the 4th… and we’re pretty sure this little Jedi was made for it 🐷💫

Armed with the force (and probably snacks), this tiny master is ready to bring balance to the yard… or at least locate every hidden treat 👀🥕

Whether you’re on the light side or the snack side, we hope your day is filled with a little magic, a lot of love, and maybe a pig using the force to steal your heart 💛

Sometimes saving pigs means saving a person too 💔🐷

We were recently asked for help by a pig mama who was in a dangerous, abusive situation. She had been told she could never leave… because of her pigs. Threats were made against them if she tried. The very animals she loved most were being used to keep her trapped.

But she was brave. Brave enough to reach out. Brave enough to trust that maybe—just maybe—it really does take a village.
So we became that village.

With a simple transport, we were able to move her piggies to a safe place… which meant she could finally move herself to safety too. 🛻💕

Now, she gets something she was told she couldn’t have—freedom AND her animals. She can breathe, heal, and know her babies are safe with her.

Two piggies. One mama. All safe. All because people showed up.

This is your reminder: being part of the village matters. Sometimes the smallest act—offering help, making a call, doing a transport—can change everything.

Let’s keep showing up for each other. Let’s keep making it possible for people to be brave. ❤️🐽

We are SO close… we only have until May 14th to pay off the last $200 from when Mabel and Nala got spayed 💕

Because of that surgery… ✨ Nala is now cancer-free, running around like she’s 5 years younger, and feeling AMAZING without all that weight she was carrying
✨ Mabel is living her best life — healthy, happy, and (as always) completely convinced she deserves to be adored at all times 💁‍♀️🐷

This is one of those moments where a little bit truly makes a BIG difference.

🧬🐷 Happy DNA Day from the piggies! 🐷🧬

The pigs have been having serious discussions today… because apparently dogs can just order a DNA kit and find out everything about themselves 😤

Meanwhile, our crew is over here like, “Excuse me… where is OUR test kit??”
There are around 14 different breeds of miniature pigs, and most American mini pigs are actually a mix of several—so technically, our piggies are walking, snorting little mysteries 💁‍♀️🐽

But Teddy has already made up his mind. He’s convinced he needs a DNA test immediately to prove that he is 100% AMAZING 🧬✨

We tried to gently explain that “amazing” isn’t actually a recognized breed… but also… let’s be honest… ALL miniature pigs are 100% amazing, so he might not be wrong after all 😌💕
