It was a little too hot to ride today, but that didn’t stop Maddie from coming to the barn. 💛
Some of the most valuable lessons happen with both feet on the ground. Today was all about barn chores, horse care, and learning what goes into keeping our horses happy and healthy.
Maddie continues to impress us every lesson with how smart, dedicated, and capable she is. At just 5 years old, she’s proving that great horsemanship starts long before you climb into the saddle. We’re so proud of you, Maddie!

Meet Courtlyn
Courtlyn is our Western riding instructor at Harvest and Hooves Farm. She is passionate about helping riders of all ages build confidence, develop strong horsemanship skills, and enjoy every step of their riding journey. With a fun, patient, and encouraging teaching style, she creates a safe and supportive environment where every rider feels comfortable learning at their own pace.

Whether your child is riding for the very first time or looking to grow their skills, Courtlyn focuses on building confidence, proper riding fundamentals, and a genuine love for horses. Her goal is to make every lesson a positive experience that leaves riders excited to come back and continue learning.
