It’s been a while since we’ve properly introduced ourselves!
We are MyGeekTails Maine C**n Cattery, a small family-owned cattery located in Houston, Texas. When we say small family-owned, we truly mean it—it’s just my husband and me dedicating our hearts to raising exceptional European Maine C***s.
My husband is a United States Marine Corps veteran and currently works as an Electrical Foreman here in Houston. Together, we have spent over a decade caring for, raising, and improving this incredible breed that we love so much.
We believe in being transparent, so let’s address one of the most common questions we receive: Why aren’t our Maine C***s cheap?
The answer is simple—we invest heavily in the health, well-being, and future of every kitten we produce. Our breeding program includes comprehensive genetic testing, heart echocardiograms, hip and joint evaluations, and ongoing health screenings to ensure we are producing healthy, well-socialized Maine C***s. We also spend time educating new families on proper care, nutrition, and the importance of spaying and neutering.
Beyond health testing, we provide lifetime support to our families and work hard to make the adoption process as smooth as possible. We have helped place kittens throughout the United States and have even sent our babies internationally, including to Canada and the United Kingdom.
Every kitten raised at MyGeekTails is treated like family before they ever become part of yours. We take great pride in our breeding program, our cats, and the relationships we build with our adopters.
