💕🐾 CHAMOMILE IS FREE! CHAMOMILE IS SAFE! 🐾💕

This tiny girl was fighting for her life, and now she has a chance to fight for her recovery. ❤️

Chamomile was on the euthanasia list at BARC on October 31, and her medical condition was heartbreaking. At just 21 pounds, she was severely emaciated, lethargic, and unable to keep food down. She had been vomiting repeatedly, and X-rays raised concerns about a possible obstruction or mass.

She desperately needed medical care beyond what the shelter could provide.

But Sunnyside Street Dogs stepped up, and Chamomile is SAFE! ❤️

Now the real work begins.

Chamomile needs further diagnostics to determine what is causing her vomiting and inability to eat. Depending on what veterinarians find, she may require surgery or other intensive medical treatment. She is also heartworm positive, adding another challenge to her recovery.

This sweet 6-year-old girl has already endured so much, and we are determined to give her every chance at the life she deserves.

❤️ Chamomile is safe, but her medical battle is far from over.

🙏 IF YOU PLEDGED FOR CHAMOMILE, YOU CAN NOW HONOR YOUR PLEDGE!

Her medical expenses could be significant, and every donation will help us get her the care she desperately needs.

🎉🐾 KIMBER IS FREE! KIMBER IS SAFE! 🐾🎉

Another beautiful life saved from the euthanasia list at BARC! ❤️

Sweet Kimber, a 4-year-old Labrador Retriever mix, was facing euthanasia on November 2. But her story didn’t end there. Kimber is now safe with Sunnyside Street Dogs! ❤️🐾

At just 35 pounds, Kimber is a sweet, gentle girl who greets people with a wagging tail, a wiggly body, and the softest expression. She knows how to sit, walks nicely on a leash, and takes treats gently from your hand.

Even in the stressful shelter environment, Kimber showed everyone what a wonderful girl she is.

Unfortunately, Kimber also comes to us with medical needs. She is heartworm positive and has been battling an upper respiratory infection. She will need veterinary care, time to recover, and eventually heartworm treatment.

❤️ Kimber is safe, but her journey to a healthy, happy life is just beginning.

We are so grateful to everyone who shared her story, pledged, and helped give this sweet girl a second chance.

🙏 If you pledged for Kimber, you can now honor your pledge! Your donations will help us provide the medical care and treatment she needs.

🎉🐾 MOOSE IS FREE! MOOSE IS SAFE! 🐾🎉

This gentle giant has officially left BARC behind and is now safe with Sunnyside Street Dogs! ❤️

At 6 years old and 102 pounds, Moose is a big boy with an even bigger heart. But behind his size is a scared, confused dog who didn’t understand why he had ended up in a shelter or what was happening around him.

Moose was on the euthanasia list, and his time was running out. He is heartworm positive and has medical needs that will require veterinary care, but thanks to everyone who shared, pledged, and advocated for him, he now has the chance he deserves.

❤️ Moose is safe, but his journey is just beginning.

He will need time to decompress, medical care, heartworm treatment, and plenty of love as he settles into his new life.

🙏 If you pledged for Moose, you can now honor your pledge! Every donation will help us provide the care this big, beautiful boy needs.

🌈🐾 In Loving Memory of Tracy 🐾🌈

Sometimes rescue isn’t about how many years we can give a dog. Sometimes it’s about making whatever time they have left the most beautiful time of their life. ❤️

Sweet Tracy was a senior girl who came into our care with mammary tumors. After thoughtful conversations with her foster family, we made the difficult decision together not to put her through an extensive surgery and painful recovery. At her age, we had to consider not just how much time we might give her, but the quality of that time.

Instead, we chose comfort. We chose love. We chose to let Tracy simply enjoy being a dog, surrounded by people who adored her.

And that is exactly what her foster family gave her. ❤️

They didn’t just give Tracy a place to stay. They gave her a home. They gave her soft places to sleep, gentle hands to comfort her, and the kind of unconditional love that every dog deserves.

They knew their time with her might be limited, but they opened their hearts anyway. And when you love a senior dog knowing that goodbye may come far too soon, that takes a very special kind of person.

Tracy didn’t need to know how much time she had left. She only needed to know that she was safe, that she was loved, and that she belonged.

To Tracy’s foster family, thank you for giving this beautiful girl something no surgery or medication could ever provide: a home filled with love for the rest of her life. We know saying goodbye was heartbreaking, and we hope you find comfort in knowing just how much you meant to her.

Rest peacefully, sweet Tracy. 🌈🐾

You were loved. You mattered. And you will never be forgotten.

🐶 A LITTLE DOG WHO JUST DIDN’T BELONG ON THE STREETS… ❤️

Sometimes the dogs who need us most show up when we least expect them.

This little girl appeared along the regular route of one of our amazing street feeders. She is only about 18 lbs , and it was immediately clear that she just didn’t belong out there. We don’t know how she ended up on the streets, but we do know that she was vulnerable, and it was only a matter of time before something bad could happen to her.

Thankfully, one of our wonderful fosters in PA stepped up and opened their heart and home to her. Because of that, we were able to get this little girl off the streets and somewhere safe before it was too late. ❤️

But we’re not quite across the finish line yet!

Now we need a little help from our village. We need donations to get her vetted and spayed so we can get her ready for transport to her foster home in Pennsylvania, where a new beginning is waiting for her.

It takes a village to save these dogs, and every dollar makes a difference. Whether you can donate $5, $10, or whatever you can spare, it all adds up and helps us get her one step closer to safety and a better life.

Please help us get this little girl on her way!
