🚨 IMPORTANT PET MEDICATION RECALL NOTICE

Please share this important information with fellow pet owners.

Wedgewood Pharmacy has announced a voluntary recall of certain compounded veterinary medications due to potential concerns regarding medication potency.

Cape Veterinary Hospital has not dispensed any of the recalled medications through our in-house pharmacy. However, we are sharing this information as a courtesy to clients who may have received prescriptions directly from Wedgewood Pharmacy.

🚨 What Should You Do?

1. Visit https://www.wedgewood.com/recall-lookup/
2. Check your medication, lot number, and expiration date to determine whether your prescription is affected.
3. If your medication is included in the recall, follow Wedgewood Pharmacy’s recall instructions and contact your veterinarian promptly to discuss your pet’s treatment.

📞 For additional assistance, contact Wedgewood Pharmacy at 866-562-5931.

Please note that not all medications from Wedgewood Pharmacy are affected by this recall.

At Cape Veterinary Hospital, your pet’s health and safety are always our priority. We encourage all pet owners to check their medications and reach out to their veterinarian with any questions or concerns.

Those ears are cute, but they need a little extra attention. Dogs with long, floppy ears can be more prone to moisture and debris buildup. Keep an eye out for redness, odor, discharge, or frequent head shaking, and give us a call if something seems off!
