Christian County Humane Society We are located in the last door of the Bed N Biscuit building on Skyline Drive. We have been a no-kill animal rescue for over 30 years.

The Christian County Humane Society is a small non-profit organization located on Skyline Drive in Hopkinsville, KY. Since we do not receive state or federal funding, we depend on donations, memberships, and fundraisers. All of our animals (of appropriate age) are spayed/neutered and current on all vaccinations. The adoption fee for our animals is $70.00. If the animal you are adopting is not old

enough to be spayed/neutered, your adoption fee will include a certificate for a spay/neuter to be used when the animal reaches the appropriate age. If you wish to volunteer, donate, adopt, or provide foster care for one of our animals, feel free to contact us!

This little guy just joined our adoption center. He has a gray charcoal coat. Name is Truffles. Combo negative. He is on antibiotics and eye meds. His eyes were matted shut when he came to our vet. He is doing great and now very active and playful. He will be wormed again in a few days. His estimated date of birth is September 3rd. Truffles was found abandoned. Update: Nick Furry's vet visit went great. He is looking good and he is updated on his shots. Ready for a new home!! Hurry to see him ! He is waiting for you.

This is Nick Furry and he is waiting for a new home. He came to us with an eye injury, but with a good foster home and eye meds, he is doing great. He will always have a spot on that eye but that just adds to his look ! He has an appointment for a check up from the vet on 9-24.

Anyone recognize this girl?? She was found in the country. Finders took her to the vet. She is too thin. She has bad ears but medicine has been administered which should clear up the yeast infection. She has been given antibiotics for her dermatitis skin condition. She has medicated shampoo as well. Appears someone took a razor to her side which shows in the picture. Anyone interested in fostering her while she recovers???? Sharing is appreciated.

This is MISTY. She's up to date on shots and is a beautiful one year old torty. She has a small (recovering) wound near her shoulder. She was found abandoned and it appeared she had recently been nursing kittens. No kittens were ever found so we think she was dropped. Misty will be spayed soon and will be looking for a new home. 270-887-4678 to meet Misty. Sharing always appreciated.

OZZIE still needs a new home!!!! His pads are healed and hair loss around eye is gone !

When you call the Humane Society to help an animal, the animal is now released to the society to treat and pay the vet bill. We do not return the animal to the people who released the animal into the society for help. We simply cannot afford to pay vet bills for people.

Meet OZZIE. He is at our adoption center. He was found by lady who thought he was a female with a URI. He's a male, about 3 months old. OZZIE has no URI but has a bit of hair loss around one eye. His pads are raw and he has ointment for both the feet and around his eye. He is a fiesty little guy and very vocal for attention. He would make a great addition to your family.
