It’s almost time for the 4th of July!!

With that comes big beautiful fireworks that are followed by big loud booms! Fireworks can sometimes be very scary for our furry friends — if you have a pet who experiences noise anxiety, please call our office by 2:00 p.m. Thursday July 3rd so that our staff has plenty of time to fill their medications.

We are excited to welcome a new member to our team, Dr. Amanda Staviski! 🐾

Dr. Amanda is a recent graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys working with all species. Her special interests include surgery and internal medicine.

She is eager to serve Trigg County and the surrounding communities.

Good morning, as most of you know the power is out in most of Trigg County. If you have an appointment today and would like to reschedule please call 270-871-8731.

We will be closing at 3pm today in precaution for the expected snow. Please stay tuned for tomorrow expectations, as of right now we will not be open.

Due to recent changes with outside/online pharmacies the Trigg County Vet Clinic has implemented utilizing written scripts for all outside pharmacy prescriptions.

We will no longer be approving outside/online pharmacy requests via fax or online portals.

What does this mean?
This means that any prescription to be filled at an outside pharmacy (human pharmacies, chewy, allivet, petmeds etc.) will require you to pick up a written script to provide to the pharmacy you choose.

Due to the labor previously associated with this process and now utilization written scripts a small script fee will be associated with each new prescription request and approval.

We encourage our clients to utilize our online pharmacy which is structured similarly to other online pharmacies. The prescriptions can be sent straight to your door at similar cost to other online pharmacies, and you are still supporting local!

Of course Trigg County Vet Clinic will have prescriptions available for pick up like normal. No script fees will be associated with prescriptions filled at Trigg County Vet Clinic or through our online pharmacy.
