Hey everyone!
We have about one month until our Reduced-Cost Cat Spay & Neuter Day, and currently we have ZERO applications and ZERO surgeries scheduled.
I want to clarify what it means to qualify. If you receive any type of government assistance, you may be eligible! This includes programs such as:
• SNAP
• WIC
• EBT
• Social Security benefits
• Disability benefits
If you receive another type of assistance that’s not listed, just give us a call—we’re happy to answer your questions.
We created this program because we want to help members of our community who may not otherwise be able to afford to spay or neuter their cats. However, these events require a great deal of planning, staffing, and resources. If there isn’t enough community participation, unfortunately we won’t be able to continue offering the program.
Our long-term goal is to expand these reduced-cost surgery days to include dogs, but we’re starting with cats first.
Please help us spread the word by sharing this post with friends, family, neighbors, rescue groups, and anyone who may benefit.
