Winter Prep is Important! Especially if your pig is young, sick, or elderly! They need extra protection from the cold!

Proper housing will be water resistant, draft free, and full of straw for insulation! (NOT BLANKETS! These absorb moisture and FREEZE!)

I personally make double or triple insulated houses in addition to meeting all these requirements so my babies stay nice and toasty! (A Dogloo alone is not enough!)

The colder your pig is during winter, the more calories they will burn keeping themselves warm! So always keep an eye on your pig and adjust food as needed!

Some pigs gain weight as they become less active and sleep more, other loose weight as they spent lots of energy to stay warm! Adjust to maintain a healthy body condition!

Mini pigs are real! Mini In comparison to farm hogs! Teacups and Micros are not!

Mini Pigs are 15-20" on average! 75+lbs!

Knowing realistic expectations is one key factor in pet pigs staying in their forever homes! ❤️

Just got the most heart felt message today ♥️

She got a piglet a few weeks ago. (not from me)
I have been helping her by answering any and all questions she has and addressing any concerns and problems. It means so much to get a message like this because I truly know I am helping people 🙏🏻

I still have 3 of my 2024 piglets! It's astonishing!

Zara- Female- Black with 2 white back feet, and half white left front foot. Very intelligent, a little dramatic, but LOVES love! She's gotten the most training of our 3 and honesty is becoming the perfect piggy! 🐷

Tapito- Male- Black, Hazel Eyes, With a SMIDGE of white on his back toes. A bit timid and a little ✨dramatic✨, but a sweetie who just needs time to feel safe and get adjusted to you.

Benito- Male- All Black, Heart of Pink on Nose 🐽, Sweetest most easy going guy there is, from Day 1 he has been the definition of Chill. He loves to just crawl in your lap for snuggle time and lovesss to make himself comfy for nap time. 💤

⏰They are currently ~11mo as they were born on Cinco De Mayo of 2024 (hence their names) but currently are still a petite ~15lbs.

🚨Please note that is only their CURRENT size, pigs can grow until 5yo with most growth being done in the first 3 years. The smallest pig on record with the AMPA is 15" tall and 75lbs. If a breeder says that a pig will be smaller than this they are misguiding you to make a sale.

🧬They are Juliana X American Mini Mix, his Mother is my own Pumpkin, who is 3.5yo and 15" tall, and Autumn Acres Mini Pet Pigs, Cash, who is 5yo and 16" tall.
My ESTIMATE, (as size can never be guaranteed) is that my piglets will be 15-17" at maturity due to their lineage.

My Favorite Reasons for Loving Black Piggies 🐷

🖤They always look clean
🖤Their colors hardly change!
(Only the white bits can get a smidge more black)
🖤 Less likely to get sunburn
(But still give your baby access to shade & water so it doesn't overheat)
🖤 Can have many beautiful White Patterns in different amounts!
🖤Can melt your heart with personality alone!
