Today we celebrated an unbelievable reunion — all thanks to a microchip.
Whiskey went missing from his home five years ago, and his family had lost hope of ever finding him. Two weeks ago, he arrived at our shelter. A quick scan of his microchip gave us his owner’s information, and we learned he was over 2,000 miles from home.
His family didn’t hesitate. They drove for three days to come get him, and today they were finally reunited.
Whiskey’s story is a powerful reminder that microchips work. They bring pets home, no matter the distance or time. 🐾💙
