Happy $5 Friday!

We are thrilled to see so many new followers! We are challenging 100 of our 1800+ followers to donate just $5 today!

We took Winston back to the vet this morning for sedation and wound care/bandage change. We have already spent almost $1500 on him this week! We are thankful for all the donations we received for him already!

We took 10 pet cats from the community in to be spay/neutered this morning! We need around $300 for that!

We also are making a trip to the mobile vet today to grab some much needed medications to help out community cats! We don’t just feed them, we worm them, treat them for fleas, and provide care when they are sick. These meds are not cheap to maintain!

We thank anyone that is able to donate today so we can keep caring for community cats! If you can’t donate, we understand! Sharing this post is free and helps us too!!

Have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!

To say I’m furious is an understatement. I got a call this morning that one of my colony cats came dragging its back legs. I rushed her to the vet and they found a BULLET LODGED IN HER SPINE. She had to be euthanized.

This is not ok. Cats in the county of Anderson are protected by county ordinances. This is called animal cruelty and is going to be taken seriously. Police are involved and cameras are being pulled.

I can only hope the police find this person before I do.

People need to DO better! The cat overpopulation is an issue caused by irresponsible HUMANS! They don’t deserve to suffer because of that.

You don’t have to like cats. You don’t have to feed cats if you don’t want. But you DO have to have the self control to not shoot a defenseless animal.

If anyone has any information about what happened to this kitty.. if you hear a neighbor bragging about shooting cats.. please reach out to us so we can find this jerk.

11 more cats are not contributing to the overpopulation!

Spay and neuter everything!

Happy Wednesday!

Wednesdays mean Wishlist Wednesday, a wonderful opportunity for our new friends and followers to send support to the community kitties that we care for!

We feed an average of 100 cats a day, using around 75 cans of wet food and 20 pounds of dry food each and every day! We also provide food to the feeders of some of our TNRd colonies!

Check out our Amazon wishlist and see how you can support the kitties!

We hope your week turns out great!
