📢 A Quick Scheduling Update for Next Week

Due to limited team availability next week, our Comfort Room will not be offering euthanasia appointments during this time.

However, Blake will be available to answer questions, schedule appointments, and compassionately receive pets into our care for water-based cremation (aquamation).

If your pet has passed away and you need aftercare services, please don't hesitate to reach out. Blake will ensure your beloved companion is welcomed with the dignity, gentleness, and respect they deserve.

We know these moments are never easy, and we're grateful for your patience as our small team navigates a brief period of reduced staffing. We remain committed to providing the personalized care and support that every family deserves.

When you entrust your beloved pet to Furever Faithful, you're not just choosing water-based cremation. You’re choosing a team that believes Pets Are Family.

From the moment your pet arrives in our care, they are treated with the same dignity, gentleness, and respect that we would want for our own.

❤️ We take the time to create keepsakes and memorial items with great attention to detail, honoring the unique bond you shared.

❤️ Each individually cremated pet is identified and carefully tracked throughout their entire journey.

❤️ Your pet is cared for through our gentle aquamation process, which uses warm water and alkaline salts rather than fire to return them to the same mineral remains you would receive with traditional cremation. Many families appreciate that this process is both gentle and environmentally responsible.

❤️ Before your pet comes home, their ashes are carefully prepared and placed in the urn or memorial option you have chosen. We strive to have pets ready for their families within 1–2 weeks, with delivery to your pet's veterinary clinic available in many cases.

Most importantly, you'll never have to wonder if you're receiving your own pet back. We use multiple layers of identification including personalized metal tags, paper charting, and software tracking systems, to ensure every family receives only their beloved companion's remains.

We know this is one of the hardest days you'll ever face.

Our promise is simple: from the moment your pet enters our care until the moment they return home, they will be treated with compassion, honor, and the utmost respect.

Because they aren't "just a pet."

They are family. ❤️

You voted and we listened!

Office Kitty Tiger is now sporting teal and purple nail caps 💅 🥰

Side note - how is this little boy (a stray kitten found near a local school) growing up so fast?!

Have you met Tiger at our office? He takes his emotional support role seriously 💙

One of the most common questions we hear is:

"What should I do if my pet passes away at home?"

First, take a breath.
Spend the time you need with your beloved companion. Sit with them, hold them, and say goodbye.

However, there is one very important step that should be taken as soon as possible:

⚠️ Protect your pet from flies and other insects.
If your pet is outdoors, bring them inside as soon as possible. If they are indoors, keep them away from open doors, garages, porches, and areas where insects may have access.

Additional recommendations:
🐾 Wrap your pet on a towel and/or blanket
🐾 Keep them in a cool, air-conditioned area (whenever possible)
🐾 Contact us if you have questions, we are always happy to guide you

We know their official names weren't what you actually called them.

Stetson was so small and fluffy when we got him as a puppy! I called him Little S for Little Stetson (and I told him it doesn't matter how big he grows, he will always be my Little Stetson). At one point Blake had to learn to be smarter than Stetson about socks, and so he says Little S stands for something else...

Tell us your pet's real name and the ridiculous nickname they answered to.

"The Aquamation® process uses water instead of fire to return a body back to Mother Nature."

A helpful way to understand aquamation: it’s the same kind of breakdown that happens in nature over time—just carefully accelerated with water flow, temperature, and alkalinity.

For many families, that brings a little peace. If you’d like to learn more, we’re happy to talk you through it. 🤍

“How do I know when it’s time to let my pet go?” 🤍🐾

This is one of the hardest questions a family can ask. It usually comes with a heavy mix of love, worry, and fear of “getting it wrong.” Our hospice veterinarian wrote this blog to help bring clarity and peace to a decision that never feels easy.

In the post, we share gentle, practical ways to assess quality of life, including:
• Comfort: pain, restlessness, trouble settling, breathing effort
• Basics: eating/drinking, nausea, toileting, mobility
• Joy: still seeking connection, favorite things, calm moments
• Trend: when bad days start to outnumber good days

If you’re facing this question, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to make the decision in a panic. Sometimes simply reading through a clear framework helps a family feel more grounded.

When the time comes, we’re honored to provide peaceful, unhurried in-home or comfort room euthanasia, so your pet can be surrounded by love in a peaceful setting. 🌈

Today’s blog is going to focus on ways to help you make the decision of whether or not it is the right time to have your pet euthanized. Euthanasia means “good death”, and when the time is right it is a very humane way to end a beloved pet’s suffering. There is a reason why euthanasia is the...
