Thank you to all of our friends and family, from near and far, with two-legs and four-legs, for celebrating the fifth anniversary of the paw park this past Saturday (5/16/26).

We kicked off the day with speeches, including remarks from Mayor Rocco Impreveduto. Thank you, Mayor Impreveduto, for your kind words and for all of the support from (including DPW who helped set up this event!).

After the Opening Remarks, it was a day filled with fun and tail wagging. Ptl. Jackson and his K9 partner, Murph, gave a spectacular demonstration. There were live pet portraits (thanks ), an ice cream truck (thanks ), races through weave poles, kites flying in the sky, and treats for people and pups. And most of all- there was catching up with old friends and making new friends.

A big shout out to .works for volunteering to capture all some of these amazing moments!
Veronica Campbell is an art director at PepsiCo Design, and she and her pup Gracie are regulars .

Thank you to our volunteers- both those that helped get the park in such beautiful shape before the event and those who helped at the event. We couldn't have done it without you.

We had so much fun seeing everyone come together and are looking forward to the next five fur-tastic years!

Thanks to Peter Ackerman and the The Asbury Park Press for the wonder-wooful photos!

Saturday's Forecast: 79 degrees and sunny ☀️

Looks like tomorrow is going to be a beautiful day for the five year anniversary! We'll kick off at 11 am with Opening Remarks. Swipe right to see a few special guests and activities.

Slide 2- At 11:15 am, the Holmdel Police Department will host a K9 Demonstration, featuring Ptl. Jackson and his partner, Murph!

Slide 3- will be selling live pet portraits

Slide 4- Swing by and purchase a sweet treat from

Slide 5- Come check out our take on weave poles, and enter your pup in the Weave & Wag competition! (Sadly, we don't think Bali is winning any prizes on Saturday...)

Slides 6 & 7- In spring 2018, the Ching family went to Washington, DC to see the cherry blossoms. There was a kite festival that weekend, and we have fond memories of sitting in the grass, watching all the kites. Help us recreate that memory tomorrow- bring a kite, and fly it in the field!

Getting ready for lots of floofy fun!

Bet your pup will love trying out these new agility tunnels, which were generously discounted by Lowe’s, Holmdel. And we are absolutely nuts over the custom-made squirrels by . Thank you very much Robert, for creating and donating the squirrels to Alex’s Paw Park. Last but not least, we are so grateful for our amazing volunteers ❤️

And just like that - 2025 comes to an end. We are thankful for the time spent with friends (new and old, two- and four-legged) and for the wonderful memories. From Howl'oween to Woofstock, splash parties to park cleanups, this year has been a year to remember.

Wishing the paw park community a very happy and healthy new year. We can't wait to welcome everyone back in the spring and to celebrate the park's 5th anniversary.
