Striking Gold Stables is proud to share that we have expanded and are now offering retirement board at our new annex barn! The annex is connected to our main facility, and offers 8 main barn stalls with attached walk out areas as well as multiple additional large turn out paddocks. It also offers 5 shed row style outdoor stalls, one indoor and one outdoor wash stall with hot and cold water, a tack room and a small sand riding ring. We are currently accepting new boarders! Please inquire for more information. 🐴

SGS had a great time this past weekend at Autumn Riders Horse show! 🍂
Assistant trainer .eq brought Ariana Morale’s Willin to his first horse show ever and came out grand champion! This young horse has come so far in his past few months with us and is getting better with each and every ride! .equestrian and ’s Juicy were grand champion once again in the beginner hunters and qualified for Fall Finale thanks to their hard work! ✨Last but not least, .jessie and Juicy did fantastic and got some great ribbons in the pleasure division! Great job to everyone! 🎉

HITS 2025 was a huge success for Striking Gold! We are so proud of our horses and riders performances this past week. Thank you to all of our staff and clientele for working together as a great team and making it all possible! Looking forward to next years fun HITS shenanigans. Recap of some of our barn placings below 🤗

🌟Adrianna and Cancade were grand champion of the long stirrup equitation and reserve champion of the long stirrup hunters

🌟Sam and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow won The League 2’6” adult medal out a large and competitive group

🌟Sophia and Kate Murphy’s Rythmic were 3rd in the low adult hunter u/s out of a large competitive group

🌟Libby and Lead Story were 4th in the low adult hunter classic and were also 9th in the 2’6” hunter derby out of a whopping 63 riders

🌟Malia and Cancade were 6th out of a large and competitive group in the junior/adult 2’3” equitation

🌟Kaia and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow had some beautiful rounds in the low children’s hunters throughout the week in a huge low children’s hunters division of 35 competitors

🌟Lastly, Aiofe had a blast catch riding Bell of the Ball and placing 3rd and 5th in the cross rail poles

Super proud of these two! Congrats to Kaia and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, also known as Katrina, on their great rides and ribbons in the low children’s hunters today. Looking forward to watching these two continue to work hard and grow together this show season. These two will also be competing at Zone 2 finals in Harrisburg later this year! Hooray🎉

Lead Story and had some great rides this past week at ! Lead Story, known as Lucy in barn, was a super star and settled right in. We finished off the weekend with a top 15 finish in the $1k non-pro hunter derby out of 40+ riders. Overall it was a very fun week and we are very proud of this duo! 🎉

Congratulations to both Ruby and .jessie on their riding this past weekend at ! Ruby and Juicy were grand champion in the beginner hunters, and Jess and Juicy did fantastic in the pleasure division! So proud of you both and so grateful to ’s Juicy for being the best teacher and taking care of these two 💕

Big shout out to .eq on her move up to the 3 foot adult equitation division this past weekend at Princeton show jumping! Sophia and SGS’s WBF Quartilaz had some great rounds and ribbons, including a 5th place jn the THIS NHS medal. We are super proud and excited to see what they can accomplish together this summer! 🌟

Happy new year from SGS! 🎉 We are so grateful to have rung in the new year with some brand new GGT footing in our indoor arena. We are so excited about this update to our facility and want to thank our property owner Carol for being on board! Our horses are LOVING it! 😍 We will be sharing a few more posts in the coming days with congratulations for new leasers of SGS horses, as well as welcoming some new SGS boarders. 2025 has started off with a bang and we can’t wait to see where this year brings us!
