Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary is a 501c3 that provides a safe haven for animals with no other home or shelter. We prepare animals for adoption by providing respite, rehabilitation and socialization. For those animals whose chances of adoption are reduced due to age, medical or emotional issues, Hallie Hill provides a loving Forever Home with the proper shelter, nutrition and medical care. We can’t

change an animal’s past, but we can rewrite their future. Hallie Hill helps Charleston to achieve the status of a No-Kill Community by working with local shelters and rescues to take in dogs that might not get adopted due to age, medical or behavioral issues. Hallie Hill has over 30 acres of land with large enclosures for dogs to live and play. Our facility features a pond for swimming, dog houses with straw and heat lamps, bedding, and individual pools to help keep animals comfortable.

Xena (prev. Mona) is a beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd mix with an energetic spirit, a playful side, and plenty of personality waiting to shine.

She can be a little tentative when meeting someone new, but once she feels comfortable, Xena warms up quickly. She enjoys spending time with other dogs, loves to run, and would be happiest with plenty of space to stretch those long legs. 🐕💨

A home with a fenced-in yard could be a great fit for Xena, giving her room to play, explore, and enjoy all that energy.

Animals, Art & Automobiles is coming to Charles Towne Landing on Sunday, September 13, bringing together so many things we love in one place.

Spend the afternoon exploring an impressive lineup of cars, browsing more than 20 local vendors, checking out the silent auction, grabbing something delicious from the food trucks, meeting adoptable dogs, and keeping an eye out for a special visit from Charlie the RiverDogs mascot. 🚗

🐾🩺 Another Wonderful Clinic for Our Community! 🩺🐾

August was another busy month at Hallie Hill as we welcomed PETSinc back to the Sanctuary for our monthly mobile veterinary clinic. 💚

Together, the PETSinc team provided:
🐶🐱 31 surgical procedures
🩺 35 wellness visits

That means dozens of local pets received important veterinary services close to home, from spay and neuter procedures to wellness care and more.

We are incredibly grateful to PETSinc for continuing to bring their expertise, compassion, and affordable veterinary care to our community each month. Their partnership makes these clinics possible, and we are so thankful for everything their team does for local pets and the people who love them. ❤️

🐾💚 Meet Rocco, Our Sweet Senior Gentleman 💚🐾

At 14 years old, Rocco has perfected the art of enjoying the simple things in life: a friendly hello, a good brushing, and plenty of affection from the people around him.

This handsome senior may move a little more slowly these days, but he still loves coming out to greet visitors and soak up some pets. Rocco has arthritis, so keeping up with his grooming can be a little harder for him. Luckily, brushing is one of his favorite ways to spend time with his people, and he is known to reward the attention with plenty of happy purrs. ❤️

Rocco would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a calm, affectionate companion to share cozy days and quiet moments with.

Animals, Art & Automobiles is getting closer, and we would love to see even more incredible vehicles join us at Charles Towne Landing on Sunday, September 13.
