Anybody want to foster or adopt a girl for her last few good years?

Emily came to Pawfect Match after her caretaker could no longer care for her due to Alzheimer’s.

At 12 years old, she was facing homelessness and possible euthanasia—but we couldn’t let that happen. Emily spent most of her life in an apartment, so she’s perfectly comfortable living in one, but she also won’t complain if there’s a backyard to explore.

Giget came to us from a hoarding situation. She was shutdown and scared but has come out of her shell. She now loves people! She can be a little weary if a person is extremly tall though she is fine once they sit down. She is great with dogs, cats, and kids. She is completely house trained and crate trained. When she pick you as her person she will be stuck to you like velcro! Gidget is up to date on all medical and ready to be adopted now! Gidget does NOT need a fenced in yard but would love one to run around in.

💔 Imagine being abandoned at the shelter - scared, and alone. You’re surrounded by bright lights, constant noise, and strangers walking by without stopping. Terrifying, right? That was Koda’s reality.

Because he was too afraid to show his true self in the shelter, Koda was placed on the euthanasia list. He was adopted out by an individual with the intention to find him a home herself, but when finding him a new home became “too hard,” his owner had an ultimatum: Koda needed to be adopted by the end of the week, or be euthanized.

Koda has been failed over and over again. But this time, things are different. Thanks to his amazing foster, Koda is finally safe. No more deadlines. No more ultimatums. Just patience, compassion, and love. ❤️

Koda is a sweet, people-loving dog who also enjoys the company of other dogs. His only special need is a heavy-duty kennel to keep him secure while you’re away. With time in a stable, loving home, his anxiety will ease, and he’ll continue learning what it truly means to be safe and cherished.

This little stud muffin is as cute as can be and is sure to cure any ailments with his puppy dog eyes and tortilla chip ears.

Weighing in at roughly 15 pounds, Doc is a perfect sized boy, who is potty trained and walks great on leash!

CAN WE GET A BIG WELCOME FOR THE MARVEL LITTER!!!!

These babies are collie/ shepherd mixes that were saved from the shelter (with mom)! They are around 7 weeks old and are ready to find their forever homes.

We are guessing they will be between 45-55lbs when fully grown!

We are also looking for foster homes for these cuties. For puppies they go in pairs to foster homes (or more)! Foster to adopt is always an option with any of our pups!

‼️📣 IMPORTANT PSA 📣‼️

Recently, posts have circulated claiming that a dog named Koda would be euthanized if he was not adopted by the end of the week. Because Pawfect Match had previously shared a courtesy listing for Koda, these posts have mistakenly been connected to our rescue.

Let us be absolutely clear: Pawfect Match Rescue & Rehabilitation does not, and will never, euthanize a dog because they haven’t been adopted by a deadline. When a dog becomes part of our rescue, they are safe for life. That is our promise.

To eliminate confusion and ensure Koda’s safety, Pawfect Match has officially taken ownership of Koda and placed him in a foster home.

Here are the facts:
• The threat of euthanasia did not come from Pawfect Match. It came from Koda’s previous owner, who was not affiliated with our rescue.
• She referred to herself as a “foster” because she had adopted Koda from a shelter to save him. However, she acted independently, not under the guidance of any rescue.
• Pawfect Match stepped in with a courtesy post to help network Koda. When an adopter was not found quickly, the threat of euthanasia was made by the owner—not by us.

⚠️ This is not the right way to ask for rescue support. ⚠️

Rescues like Pawfect Match operate with waitlists and active partnerships to pull dogs directly from shelters, often saving them from euthanasia or neglect. When someone abandons a dog under the guise of “fostering,” it closes a space that could have saved another at-risk dog—and can mean a literal death sentence for one left behind.

Every single day, we receive urgent pleas from people who cannot care for their dogs, or from Good Samaritans who find animals on the street. We do what we can, but rescues cannot work miracles without fosters, resources, and community support.

💔 We know the system is broken. We know there aren’t enough shelters, kennels, or hands to help every dog in need. But we will continue to do everything in our power to give these dogs a fighting chance—with your help.

Meet Tulip, a sweet 1½-year-old, 40lb, Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a forever home. Tulip (aka "Tuli") was originally adopted from the Scotland County Animal Shelter by someone, just a few weeks before his unexpected passing. Since then, she’s been looking for a new place to call home.

Tulip is spayed, house-trained, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She’s also been successfully treated for heartworm and is now healthy and ready for her next chapter. This affectionate girl is great with kids and does well with most other dogs. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, so a slow introduction would be best if there are feline friends in the mix.

She’s got a gentle personality, loves to be close to her people, and — fair warning — she’s known to snore! Tulip is more than ready to bring joy, comfort, and a little sleepy soundtrack to the right home.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a loving spirit, with an occasional bout of the Zoomies (see video), Tulip just might be your perfect match.
