Everybody meet MILES! 🥰🐾

This happy, playful, high-energy little guy is just beginning his training journey here at Dogs Bay, and he's bringing plenty of enthusiasm along for the ride! 💚🐕

Miles is full of personality, curiosity, and excitement! He's a pup who loves life, loves to play, and has plenty of energy to spare! 🐾🎉

Our goal isn't to change that fun-loving personality. It's to help Miles learn how to channel all that wonderful energy into positive behaviors while developing focus, patience, and good manners!

🐶✨ Good Manners, One Paw at a Time! ✨🐶

Miss Sadie has been putting her mind to work, and we're focusing on two important everyday skills: polite leash manners and calmly waiting at doorways! 🥰🐾

🌟 THIS VISIT’S TRAINING FOCUS! 🌟

🐕‍🦺 LEASH MANNERS:

We practiced at a few different paces, paying attention to her handler, we also focused on her formal heel building a vital part of the foundation of her door manners! 🐾💚

🚪 DOORWAY MANNERS:

An open door doesn't automatically mean it's time to go!

We're teaching Sadie to pause, remain calm, and wait for her handler to give her the "OK" before proceeding through the doorway calm easy manner. 👏🐶

💚 WHY ARE THESE SKILLS SO IMPORTANT?

✨ Encourages patience and impulse control
✨ Builds focus and communication with her handler
✨ Helps prevent rushing through open doors
✨ Strengthens trust and teamwork

Miss Freyja has been working on her greeting manners, and she's learning that a little patience goes a long way! 🥰🐾

🌟 TODAY'S TRAINING FOCUS: CALM GREETINGS! 🌟

We worked with Freyja on managing her excitement when greeting people by asking her for a simple SIT! 🐕👏

💚 Instead of letting excitement take over, we're teaching Freyja that sitting calmly is a great way to say hello!

🐾 WHY DOES THIS MATTER?

✨ Encourages self-control and patience
✨ Helps reduce jumping and overly excited greetings
✨ Builds focus even when distractions are present
✨ Reinforces polite, positive interactions with people

Today’s VIP Plus Adventures: Flirt Pole, Sunshine and Fur Friends! ☀️🐾

One wiggly toy. So many VERY important doggie opinions! 😂

Our boarding and Day Stay fur friends brought their fancy footwork, flying ears, and best “I got dis!” moves to flirt pole fun. Meanwhile, the sandbox crew reminded us that enjoying a gorgeous day doesn’t always require breaking a sweat. 💙

A little chase, a little sunshine, some hooman love, and time with frens. Room to play—and room to simply be happy.

Today’s VIP Plus Adventures: Sock It to Me! 🧦🐾

“Hooman… you’re GIVING us da socks? Best. Day. EVER!” 😂

Our boarding and Day Stay fur kids took sock-puppet play very seriously—with flying ears, enthusiastic catches, and proud little “look what I got!” parades! Some inspected the selection, while others went straight into sock-hop mode. 💙

New textures, playful movement, and time with their favorite hoomans made this silly adventure a fun way to encourage curiosity and keep paws and brains busy!

🎃🐾 Today’s VIP Plus Adventures: Tricks, Treats & Tennis Balls!

“Hooman said there would be chimkin. Nobody said I had to BE da chimkin!” 😂🐔

Our boarding and Day Stay friends got into the Howl-O-Ween spirit with silly costumes and spooky tennis ball chase! From busy bees to Count Droolcula, this crew brought plenty of personality—and gave their hoomans plenty to smile about. 💙

Then it was time to trade posing for chasing! Following, fetching, and rounding up those Halloween ballies kept paws moving and brains focused. Apparently, even a spooky tennis ball is worth drooling over! 🎾👻
