Roxy Belle puppies are here.
Updating everyone on Roxys litter.
Well, it didnt workout like we had hoped.
She started having labor pains and pushing around noon.
Continue pushing for 4 hours. No puppies.
Got to tired to push any more.
So off to the emergency 24 hour vet.
7 long stressful hours later around midnight, we pick up Miss Roxy and 10 screaming puppies.
They had to do a c-section and spayed her as well.
All are doing good so far. 7 girls 3 boys.
People say, sure wish we could raise puppies and make all that easy money. Lol. They have no idea what goes into raising a well rounded healthy litter. Very little sleep. During the 1st 2 weeks we take turns staying up to make sure they are nursing good and mom is doing her job. We also do the Early Nuerological Stimulation.
Oh, about the money part. Lol
Sometimes we do make decent living.
But at times we may brake even.
This litter for instance.
The vet bill for c-section, spay and delivering 10 puppies. $9366.
Then at 8 weeks vet bill for shots and health certs. Another $1200.
And all the cost in-between. Lol.
But we truely love doing this.
The happy families and the love our puppies bring us and their new forever homes is amazing.
