Please help us get this sweet girl adopted!!!
This is 🩷Penny🩷.
About a week ago Penny wandered up to some nice folks in Holiday, FL looking for help. When she was found, she only weighed 28lbs and was extremely underweight, dehydrated, and weak. She has been taken to the vet where she got tested for everything plus all her shots and vaccinations. She’s perfectly healthy and all cleaned up! The vet says she’s about 5 years old.
We’ve been looking endlessly for her owner and posted on all the lost dog sites on social media and Nextdoor, but she is unchipped and no one has claimed her, so now it’s time to find her a home🩷.
Penny is great on a leash, in the car, with kids and with other animals. She’s also potty trained, stays off the furniture, sleeps through the night, and knows some basic commands. She should be about 40-45lbs when healthy.
Penny is so well-rounded that she HAD to be someone’s whole world at one point, but she has clearly been on her own for a long time, and we don’t want to kill her beautiful spirit by ending up in a loud scary shelter.
If you or anyone you know is looking for a new best friend and companion, please consider giving sweet Penny a chance🩷

Feebie’s contestant questions:

I.) What’s your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?
Feebie’s favorite treats are the cartilage bones by Frankly! However she only likes them AFTER her brother has chewed on them for a while! (gross I know, but she loves when they’re nice and soft!)

II.) What is your dog’s most unique quality?
The way she asks for affection. Feebie has three ways of asking for what she wants. 1.) She growls while vigorously wagging her tail and blowing air out of her cheeks. 2.) She takes her left paw (only the left paw) and smacks you with it. Not “paws” you, she raises her paw up and thrusts it down sharply “smacking” you. 3.) She lays her cute little head onto your lap SIDEWAYS, all while giving you the deepest darkest puppy eyes you’ve ever seen!

III.) Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?
Because of her perfect and unconditionally shining spirit! She came from a hard life, but she is the sweetest soul i’ve ever met! From the streets of Tijuana, to her very own forever castle (with a family and dog brother who she has wrapped around her little toe-bean) she is the true definition of resilience, beauty and love.
