I don't even know how to put this into words. 💔
Jen was one of the very first groomers I ever met, and she helped mentor me when I was just starting out. Im sure a lot of you remember her from Wizard of Pawz. Her mom, Sue Watson, was also a huge mentor to me and played such an important part in helping me establish and build the salon I have today. This family will always hold such a special place in my heart.
Jen is genuinely one of the most bubbly, positive, full-of-life people I have ever met. She has fought SO incredibly hard for so long, and I am absolutely devastated for her and her entire family.

Update on Jen McCarthy - I am afraid I am not the bearer of good news. Jen had a scan last Thursday and the cancer is now in her liver with 16 lesions. Saw the oncologist on Monday. There is no beating this. Chemo at this point would not cure and would probably kill her. The only other option at this point is hospice ☹️. We are seeing the oncologist Monday to start that process. The oncologist said she has about 6-12 months left. We are going to make her as comfortable as possible through the process. She has suffered and fought so long 😭. She is my hero, my wife, the best mother, and the best person I know. We are clearly devastated and just trying to get through it with family and friends. Want to thank everyone for their support, donations, help, prayers - just everything. Clearly a lot of emotion, but I wanted to give all who have followed this journey an update. Please keep her in your thoughts as we move forward. ❤️
