Hazelnut is desperately struggling in the shelter environment. The short - but long- 84 days have taken a toll on her mentally, causing her to bounce off of the walls, slamming her body on the ground and her water bowl. Her erratic behavior has called for behavioral medication. Hazelnut seems to get instant relief the minute she steps out of her kennel. She needs out of the shelter immediately.

Meet Hazelnut! This 1.5-year-old, 47.5-pound German Shepherd mix is as sweet as her name. Hazelnut may be a little shy when you first meet her, but it doesn’t take long for her warm, loving personality to shine through. Once she knows you’re a friend, she’ll be right by your side—or on your lap!—soaking up all the love and cuddles she can get.
Hazelnut is playful and curious, especially when it comes to toys (stuffies are her favorite!). She’s also shown interest in making doggy friends and has a goofy, bouncy side that comes out when she’s feeling happy and relaxed. Whether she’s snuggling up close or doing a silly little zoomie around the yard, Hazelnut is sure to steal your heart.

Harley has been here a long time. She is a husky mix and will go right over a fence so she would have to be walked on a leash. She is also not a fan of other dogs.
