I wish to honor not only my beloved Buddy , Morgan, Charlie and Otis but all the dogs I have groomed since 2007 that have left the physical world🐾🙏💔❤️. Pray I get to see you all again!!

Today, October 27th, is a separate Day of the Dead recognised as a day for people to honour the memory of their beloved pets who have sadly passed away. 💔🕊️

The main holiday is held on November 2nd, for humans. However, October 27th has become recognized by many as an additional day dedicated to remembering pets.

The bond between a person and their dog doesn’t end when life does. It lingers - in the memories, in the small routines, in the quiet moments when you still expect to hear their paws.

They say all dogs go to heaven, and maybe that’s true. Maybe they’re up there, waiting by the rainbow bridge, tails wagging, keeping watch for the one person they loved most.

And when that day finally comes, they’ll know you right away. Because love like that - it never fades, and it never forgets.

a reminder that love still lives here.

bathed in golden light,
where rainbows begin and the sky opens wide.
You look happy — free,
just as you were meant to be.

for the sound of your paws,
for the weight of your head on my lap,

The rainbow between us

It’s a bridge of love,
