Before a visit, make sure you have all the essentials for a good time!

☀️Check the weather! Island life in the Summer is known for radiant sunshine and potential random rain showers. Light weight clothing and keeping a raincoat in the car is the best of both worlds!
*If you’re joining a trail ride, we find wearing long pants will keep you comfortable in the saddle!

💧 While we do sell beverages and have a water fountain on our porch, bring a bottle to make sure you keep up with your hydration!
*Water bottles are not permitted on the horse during a trail ride*

🏝️Sunscreen is a MUST! Our UV index is no lie, anything over a UV of 5 has the potential to burn!

🦟 Bugs are inevitable down here, so ensure you don’t go home itchy by using bug spray! We also sell bug spray in our office if you’ve left yours at home.

🤩You’re going to need a camera to capture the smile on your family’s face as they experience Lawton Stables! Make sure to tag us in any pictures posted so we can relive the joy with you!

🇺🇸Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸

While this holiday is viewed as the start of the Summer season, we want to remind you all what today is truly about; honoring those who sacrificed for us. We want to thank all of our guests who have served, or have had family members who served to protect our country. We especially want to honor those who have lost their lives for us.

We will be open today and remain open throughout the whole week! We look forward to starting the summer season with you!

*Starting 5/31, we will switch to our Summer hours open Monday-Saturday & closed on Sundays*

☀️Our Summer trail ride schedule is up and ready!☀️

🌻Lawton Stables will be open all 7 days of Memorial week! (5/24-5/30)
After Memorial week, we will be closed on Sundays and open Monday-Saturday

🍉If you’ve ridden with us before, you may notice a change in our afternoon rides. In order to keep the horses safe during the peak heat of the day, we have extended their lunch break and pushed rides to an hour later!

🏝️Availability is now open to 28 guests per time slot!! Each ride will go out in groups no bigger than 14 guests in order for our guides to be able to safely cater to each rider.

🌞The farms gift shop will still close at 6pm, so make sure you buy your souvenirs prior to the 6pm trail ride!

The drought was tough, but we’ve finally got some rain! Rain or shine, we are happy to have your family here!
