Did you know your groomers are constantly learning about new tools, skills and products in the constant growing pet grooming industry?

Ariella and I are excited to be attending the world's largest pet grooming convention, in Hershey! 🥰🐾

We will be attending classes, competitions, and
product demonstrations with the industry's best 💪✂️🐾

I'll be out of the salon 9/3-9/5 and back to grooming 9/8. You can still call to schedule groom appointments while we are gone.
I have VERY limited spots available the rest of September.

I groom many nervous, anxious dogs. In fact, most dogs I groom have some level and form of anxiety. Separation anxiety is real! 🥴
Dogs can also be worried about certain smells, noises, visual stimuli or even the handling needed to groom them safely.

Did you know that I can tell how a groom is going to go by how a dog does during the bath? 🛁
To me, the bath is THE most important part of the groom, not only to get a good finished look, but more importantly, the relationship and trust between the dog and me.

Yup! SO. MUCH. TRUST. is built during that bath 🤯
I can gauge how the rest of the groom will go depending on how the dog does for it's bath 🥰 and I work with the dog according to, to make sure I'm creating a calm (as I possibly can 😆) and safe environment.
I want to set your dog up for success to have safe, cooperative grooms! 🙌✂️🫶

Did you know that when you rub your dog's ears, you are doing more than making them smile? 🐩🐶💓

It stimulates the many nerve endings, sending signals to their brain that releases natural feel good hormones, helping them feel calm, relaxed and a sense of calm-- from head to tail. 👍

That's why pups melt into your lap during a good ear rub-- it's pure comfort and bonding 🥰

(This is also something I incorporate into their bath, especially nervous or anxious dogs 😉--if the dog allows it)

This BIG guy is only 7 months old and still very much a puppy. Puppy grooming requires a different skill set, especially one so large and not used to the grooming process.
This was his first EVER groom (I don't recommend waiting that long, tho the owners had some setbacks)

He was SO nervous he didn't even want to come into the building :(

His coat was in rough shape and his owners knew it. We discussed expectations and realities for his groom with a plan set in mind.

Once he was on my table and I started working with him, he quickly realized I was helping him and he was very cooperative and brave. I got all his matting off, got him bathed and dried and then he got his final haircut. He did so well 🥰

He is now on a groom schedule so his future visits won't be so uncomfortable and will become less and less scary. I'm so proud of you Bo! 💪🥹🤩

If you're thinking this handsome guy just looks the sweetest, well ... You'd be right! 🤗

He's a little timid but SO cooperative and such a champ! 💪
He takes treats so slowly and gently, I almost think he isn't taking them at all 😆🥰 and his fur feels like heaven... He has THE softest fur I may have ever felt ❤️
And if you're wondering his breeds, he's a schnauzer poodle cross 👍😉
