Due to extreme cold temperatures expected to be -25 with the wind, the pet shop will be closed tomorrow Friday 1-22-26. The shop will reopen Saturday at noon until 3PM. Please take measures to help ensure yours and your pets safety during this weather event.

These colorful beauties were locally spawned and raised which means very healthy and hardy. They are a pure strain Half black yellow guppies. Acquiring them from the breeder directly allows us to have positive ID on the females to ensure purity of future offspring. Please stop in and check them out as pictures do not do these pretty fish justice.

Here is a new arrival this week. Buffalohead cichlid. These are fantastic fish. They typically reach 4-5" with males being the larger of the species. They are reasonably peaceful for cichlids and can be kept in larger community tanks. They are however not strong swimmers as they have a very weak swimbladder, meaning they prefer to perch on rocks frequently and prefer to be close to substrate. they will accept most prepared food as well as frozen brine. Not picky on water chemistry but good clean water is a must.

It's Thursday ! New arrival day ! New baby corn snakes. We just received a Cinder and an Okeetee. They will be ready for a new home once they have successfully eaten for us. Tomorrow will be feeding day. They should be ready by the weekend.

Deathstalker scorpion. As the name implies this species is very venomous, however they are not known for high aggression. Native to north Africa and Asia in desert regions. Sand/small gravel for a substrate is preferred, a suitable water dish, small cave and a low wattage heat bulb are all that is required do do well. This specimen is actively feeding on crickets. Feel free to stop in and check it out.
