A well-hydrated hound is a healthier, happier hound, and healthy hounds perform better when it’s time to go to work. We believe taking care of the dog comes before everything else.

A strong c**nhound doesn’t start in the woods—it starts with a solid foundation. The early months of a pup’s life are some of the most important. Building confidence, teaching obedience, encouraging independence, and exposing a young hound to new environments all play a huge role in the dog they become.

A good foundation won’t guarantee a champion, but it gives every pup the best chance to reach its full potential. Time, patience, and consistency in those early days make all the difference down the road. At Hwy 20 Kennels, we believe great hounds are built from the ground up, one step at a time.
