Porter — Gaining Energy and Ready to Shine! 🐾🖤
Porter is a gentle, affectionate, and social guy who’s starting to feel better every day! Since arriving in rescue, he’s slimmed down from 64 lbs to 51 lbs — and with that weight loss has come a noticeable boost in energy and spirit. He even loves chasing the water hose for fun!
Porter enjoys being around people and is always happy to greet new friends. He’s good with other dogs (though he prefers to hang out rather than play right now) and has been indifferent to the kitties. As he continues working toward his ideal weight of 45–48 lbs, we expect his playfulness to keep growing.
He’s crate trained, house trained, and has a calm, moderate energy level — the perfect match for someone looking for a loyal and relaxed companion.
