Check out our young Betta Rubra spawning! These are paternal mouthbrooders meaning the male carries the eggs in his mouth until they are free swimming. After they embrace the eggs typically fall to the bottom and the male collects them. In this case a few eggs get stuck in her pectoral fins but mama waits very patiently for dad to figure out how to collect the eggs. I wish the footage was better!

The all new and improved Fluval 4.0 Nano Plant LED is now in stock. A 5w increase from the previous 3.0. It sits higher with more front to back adjustability the the 3.0. I included some side by shots of the 3.0 and the 4.0 on our Fluval Flora.
