Karen Collins has gone to join all her many cat pals {and some dog friends too} in Heaven. Karen was one of the original volunteers who made it possible for Cattitude Inc to rescue thousands of homeless kittens & cats. Karen loved cats - particularly many who were not social enough to be adopted and her yard became a kitty sanctuary.
Karen, who had such a good heart, will be sorely missed by her many feline and human friends. Karen, we know you’ll take care of our animal friends at the Rainbow Bridge until we meet again.

Two beautiful brothers: Thomas a baby boy and his brother Thomas the cat who is bigger {right now} than his baby brother. Thomas the cat was born on March 12, 2012. His was a traumatic birth. His pregnant homeless mother Destiny {aka Mimi}, a small kitty was rescued by Cattitude Inc from near a dumpster at a Chinese restaurant and placed in a foster home. When she started to give birth soon after she was having a lot of trouble. The first kitten was unresponsive. She was revived by vigorous rubbing and Jasmine is still alive today. Thomas was next in the birth canal. He was big and was trying to be born sideways. A Cattitude Inc volunteer actually reached inside Destiny and gently moved Thomas around, then slowly pulled him by his feet until he was out. The next kitten also needed to be pulled from his mom. Destiny gave birth to 7 babies that day. 5 of them are still alive and they are all as big as Thomas. Destiny/Mimi lived to be 20.
