Please join us in congratulating our most recent group training class graduates!

We have enjoyed watching each team of dogs and owners grow and celebrate their successes along the way! With patience and consistency, we've seen strong skills being built, improved leash manners, boosted confidence and owners who now have a stronger bond with their pets. We are so proud of everything you’ve accomplished together!

Meet Jinx, an 18-month-old Rottweiler who has joined us on her recovery journey following recent elbow dysplasia surgery.

As part of her post-operative rehabilitation plan, Jinx is receiving laser therapy and hydrotherapy to help improve her strength, mobility, and comfort as she heals.

She's working hard in every session, and we're excited to help her get back to being the happy, wiggly pup she loves to be!

Meet Lola!

9 year old Lola has been coming in for exercise and hydrotherapy sessions, and her progress has been fantastic!

She initially showed neurological signs associated with IVDD, which have now resolved. She also has luxating patellas that are being managed through a tailored exercise program and hydrotherapy.

It’s wonderful to see her getting stronger, moving more confidently, and enjoying her sessions along the way!

This past weekend we kicked off our first session of small group training classes in our new facility. We are very excited to welcome pet owners for our first set of Puppy Level, Basic Level, and Nose Work group classes!

We will host training classes all throughout the year, be on the lookout for updates on our next session of classes as well as NEW class offerings!

We're enjoying our new space, fresh energy, and an amazing group of dogs ready to learn, grow, and thrive together! 🐾

Last week we welcomed two great dogs from Last Hope Animal Rescue, Dodger and Punk!

Dodger was a super active dog in his younger years, he most enjoyed being a running partner with many a Last Hope volunteer. As he has aged, Dodger has struggled with arthritis and decreased flexibility. We’re excited to help him with his overall mobility!

Punk (who we found to be a sweetheart!), has a history that includes having had not one, but two, cruciate ligament surgeries many years ago. For Punk we are going to focus on keeping his mobility and muscle strength as he ages gracefully!

Together with our friends at North Star Veterinary Clinic we held our ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday with the City of Hiawatha, Iowa and Hiawatha Economic Development Corporation - HEDCO!

We are so excited to expand our offerings for pet owners in the Corridor area! Our newest location will offer expanded training offerings and wellness services such as an underwater treadmill, laser therapy, therapeutic exercise work and more with the assistance of our Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant. Cedar Run Company #1 and Cedar Run Company #2 will continue to offer you the best in boarding, daycare, grooming and play & train options. All of our small group classes and one-on-one training options will move to our new location and continue to grow and expand!

Please make plans to stop by this Saturday from 1-4PM during our Open House, we would love to give you a tour of our new facility and encourage you to also visit with Dr Loni and her team to learn more about their brand new veterinary clinic!

If you love seeing behind the scenes, you’re going to want to join us this weekend for our Open House! On Saturday, from 1-4pm we invite you to walk through our newly constructed space and also visit with the team at North Star Veterinary Clinic next door!

In addition to learning about TWO new businesses catered to your pets needs, you can meet adoptable dogs and cats from Last Hope Animal Rescue on Saturday!

In the meantime, enjoy today’s all access footage as we worked on commercial footage with a few very handsome dogs that you might recognize from Cedar Run Company #1!

We had a special visitor today! Emily Schrad from KCRG-TV9 stopped by to learn more about our new business. Be sure to tune in to tonight's evening news to catch the segment, but also be sure to mark your calendars and join us NEXT Saturday from 1-4PM for our Open House! Together with North Star Veterinary Clinic, we will be opening our doors to the public to give you an all access tour of each of our facilities.

We will also be hosting adoptable dogs and cats from Last Hope Animal Rescue next weekend. Our hydrotherapy model for today, Boga, is a Last Hope alumni!
