Got to love kids

It is with great pleasure and somewhat sadness that I report that Max has found his forever home. Before I tell you where he went I want everyone to know that the week I had Max, we bond extremely well. He loved people and his temperament was just beautiful. I would have trusted him with babies, children, adults and elderly people, didn’t matter he just loved to be with people. Giving him up was sad fir me but placing him where he’s at well be perfect fir him - a Labrador.
Max went to a family that gas two boys ages 10 & 15, will have 35 acres to run and play plus two ponds to swim. Oh, the father duck hunts too. The first few hours at his new home Max was swimming. Max is in a loving home and perfect for a Labrador Lifestyle.

Walking Max. As you can see, he walks well with little effort. Here are some other facts about Max

Crate trained, barks for about 2-5 minutes then settles down and rests quietly

The first few days, Max had some accidents. I guess new smells and that my elderly dogs had some accidents confused him. Now that we both are in a routine, Max is doing great

Will retrieve balls but won’t give them up - working on that

The first few days Max wanted to play with my other dogs. Now he’s claimed down and just enjoys being with the other dogs. Playing is still on his mind but not 110 percent of the time

Loves people. Thinks everyone is there to see him. You got a pet for him- you got a friend. Adults as well as children

Sleeps all night, barks about 7 am to go out

Can leave food in dish-he eats when he wants to. I’ve played with him during his feeding with no problems. Not aggressive around food.

Rides in my truck will. When I picked him up, it was a 45 minute ride one way - he just laid down and occasionally wanted a pet.

Has adjusted well in his new environment
