We provide educational days with our rescued reptiles

, farm days to brighten up residents in nursing homes. We travel all over PA, NY, Nj, Ohio to rescue animals in need. We also help to transport rescues to other rescue facilities, or new homes.

๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿพ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’œ

Tomorrow is our final hearing at the Loyalsock Township Building for the decision on whether we can continue operating our rescue from our home. This is such a crucial moment for us, and your support means everything! ๐Ÿ’œ

While itโ€™s our understanding that no public comments will be allowed at this meeting, your presence still matters.
Every seat filled by someone who believes in what we do speaks volumes to the township.

๐Ÿ—“ Date: Tuesday, October 14th
โฐ Time: 7:30 PM
๐Ÿ“ Location: Loyalsock Township Building (Rear Entrance)

This meeting shouldnโ€™t be very long, and we arenโ€™t entirely sure what to expect โ€” but weโ€™d love to see friendly faces in the audience showing quiet support for Heidiโ€™s Furry Friends Rescue Inc.

Together, weโ€™ve saved countless lives โ€” now weโ€™re asking for your help in making sure we can keep doing it. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿพ

Four years ago Tyler was diagnosed with Panleuk. The emergency vet clinic wanted to euthanize him, but we refused. We had our beach get away planned so Tyler went along so he could get his meds and get the supportive care he needed at that time. He spent time on the beach watching the waves, and for the first time in days, he ate on his own. Four years later, Tyler loves to lay on the sink and play in water.

๐Ÿ’•Thank you Patty and Cheryl for the cat food donations!! This will get us through another month.๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿ‘‰We are asking for clumping cat litter donations.
โญ๏ธWe have an Amazon and a chewy wish list.
๐Ÿ˜ป๐Ÿ’•Please consider donating to help our rescue animals.

We have many other rescue critters in our care, such as miniature ponies, a horse, ducks, geese , a turkey, tortoises, and snakes, and a few dogs. We take on their care out of our own pockets because we already ask so much of you for cat litter and food.
We buy 20 bales of hay every week to feed the horses and ponies.
We buy 8 bags of pelleted shavings for their stalls twice a month.
We are now buying bags of collards, kale, and spring salad mix for the tortoises since itโ€™s getting colder and they canโ€™t go outside.
And the snakes get frozen/thawed mice
Our feed and supply bill is high every month.

Tassy needs your help ASAP! This poor girl was surrendered to the shelter at 15 years young after her owner passed away. Tassy is not doing well at the shelter at all. Her guard is always up. She is very stressed and starting to pull out her own fur. She really doesn't like all the other animals and the noise and chaos of the shelter. She also needs to be the only animal in the home. She is spayed and declawed and could use a diet as she is over weight. We know in a quiet home she will show her true loving personality that we know she has. Let's get Tassy a home where she can live out the rest of her golden years in peace!
