Phoebe aka Miss P, The Phoebster, (Love)Bug, Knucklehead, Little Gurl I was born around the 10th of October, 2013, probably in Virginia. I passed that 40-50 lb.

Somehow I ended up at the Virginia Beach SPCA, where I shared a "suite" with my litter-mate brother. The SPCA probably didn't want to world to know what I really was so I'd get 'dopted, they said I was a Feist. My pawrents kept getting asked what I was, but everyone disagreed. They finally had my DNA tested. Turns outs I'm 50% American Pit Bull Terrier, 24.2% Australian Shepherd, 19.4% Australian Cattle Dog, & 6.4% Shetland Sheepdog. Mommy & Daddy wanted a small(ish) fur-baby and one that didn't shed. At my last dogtors visit, I weighed 78.6 lbs. mark that the SPCA said I'd be back when I was about 4 months old. Mommy has to vacuum everyday to clean up all the hair I leave all around the house. She also has all but given up on wearing black clothes. I'm a barker. I don't snuggle, but love butt & chest rubs, & will give you lots of kisses. I'll retrieve just about anything for you, but won't hand it over. The only time I mean growl at you is when you try to take away a new bone that still has meat on it, but I'll play growl when we play keep away with my toys or old bones. I snore. Loudly. I love looking out the front door, watching for skwirls & birds, which I'll gladly chase.

This is to show everyone that my bed really is the right size for me. I just usually choose to lay around it, on it, and/or over it. For those that don't already know, every night around 6p I throw the pillow out. Yup, I'm a goof.

M&D are sitting on the porch. Miss Sarah just left (yes, she gave me lotsa ❤️ bef she did), but I didn't feel like coming inside so I think I'll just take a little snooze right here.

I put my big ol' head on Mahm's lap & asked politely for dessert. Next thing I knew she was getting out my big blankie which could only mean one thing! Yup! I got a big messy chewie! 😍

Happy birthday to me! I'm officially a teenager (in hooman yrs)! Yup, I made it to 13. M&D weren't too sure I'd last this long, but 🤣 fooled ya! In spite of my Cushing's Disease & some arthur-itis I'm still doing pretty well. I spend most of my days just lying around, but I'm happy. I get lotsa ❤️ from everyone. Morning belly rubs from Dad & belly beats from Mahm. When I come back inside with wet footses & someone dries them off for me, they get kisses in return.
Here's to another trip around the sun! 🌞

Miss Willow is here for my maini/pedi. I'm very rambunctious for some reason & feeling my oats. Mahm caught me giving one of those "oh lord help me" looks.
After, I came right in & reminded her where all the cookies are & gave her a pretty sit.
